In summary

Eagle Lakes Golf Club receives praise for its challenging layout with abundant water hazards and well-maintained greens and fairways. Many visitors commend the friendly and accommodating staff, as well as the course's value compared to other local options. However, some guests have experienced issues with tee time management, course conditions not meeting expectations, and negative interactions with certain staff members.

My wife and I played here on 1 Jan 2026. After all the bad reviews, we have to say the Staff was awesome, pace of play was great. We were allowed to play thru a foursome with no problems. Course condition was great, greens were consistent and the layout was enjoyable. Lastly we were advised to stay to the right, it’s a tight course and offers challenges. I must say, what a great round to kick of the New Year!!! We will definitely play here again. 4-Stars. Great distance from The Capri Inn and Molto Italian Trattoria ⛳️🏌️👍

Jumped on Google to see the reviews. Saw a ton of bad reviews but still decided to give it a go as there was a bunch of availability and decent pricing. For the price, I have no complaints. Front desk was very helping when approaching gates as I figured there would be an attendant to let golfers in. Was greeted by Frank at bag drop. Neutral to positive review for him. Stern at greeting but was very helpful. Course layout was challenging with all the water but kept in decent shape with all the heat. Overall I would give it a 7.5/10. And that’s me being a tough grader. Cheers and Thanks.

My son and I played this course this past Saturday at 9:00 am. It was in perfect condition. Practice range was easy to access via a short cart ride, practice greens for putting were in mint condition and matched well with the course greens. Employees in the pro shop were very nice and helpful. The course was in perfect condition. It is a tight course with water on every hole. Somehow I only donated a small handful of balls. It was very crowded but we only had to wait a few minutes on 2 or 3 holes. The rangers kept the pace going and were very helpful too. My son lost his PW on the 1st hole and…

Some of the worst tee time spacing ever. Expect to get 9 holes in even though you paid for 18 in perfect weather. They start groups off 2 min apart so u get a nice relaxing 10 minute wait at each tee box.

Me and 11 of my friends played here on 1/16 during a guys golf trip. With all the options Naples has to offer, this course is excellent. The greens, fairways, and tee boxes were in great shape. The staff was friendly and accommodating. If I had 1 complaint it was that there was no cart girl. We were told it was too cold for her. I will hopefully be playing this course again.

I came to Naples recently visiting an old friend. We heard this course was renovated and decided to give it another try, since the last time we were here, it was in bad shape. Well, driving into the parking lot entrance immediately it looks like nothing changed. The stone walls on each side are still collapsed, building looks old, area around cart house is unkept. The course was ok, not much better than before. Bathrooms need help too. Decided to mention my observations and was directed to “Justin”. He got right up in my face, was instantly rude and belligerent like nothing I’ve experienced be…

My son and I played here for the first time. Staff was very friendly, course was in excellent shape “greens were fast, true, and very few ball marks”. Considering the astronomical prices of the Rookery and surrounding courses, Eagle Lakes represents great value. Thoughts from a 13 handicapper from Connecticut.

Single dad of two (8&5)who made a T time for 4:30pm to play nine holes. Keep in mind both of them have been playing golf since they were 2 years old (both play the game). I was told it's a liability and this isn't Disney world. I said I'm well aware it's not Disney and across 5 states and a dozen golf courses I've never been turned away for a late t time because I've had two little ones with me. This course is the absolute definition of a public course maintaining the highly pretentious nature that golf has been known for. I'm glad to say this is the only course I've had this experience but I…

Played 18 holes on November 3, 2025. Course was dramatically improved since last experience (3 years ago). Tee boxes, fairways and greens all better than expected. I’d rate the entire experience an 8.5. Did I mention we (threesome) played in under 3.5 hours. Looking forward to playing again January 2026.

Course is in terrible shape, especially since it just reopened after being closed for a couple of months to improve the course, very disappointing, and now they seem to be trying to charge as a higher quality course but it is not. There are much nicer courses for the same money. The upside is you do see a lot of cool wildlife, but not worth the greens being so bad, they did get new carts which are nice and the staff is always pleasant but, still disappointing for the price. In response to the reply The weather is obviously always a factor in the condition of a golf course and every course in t…

Been playing here for a year now. Course has always had good conditions but the greens used to lack attention. HOWEVER, the greens NOW are in outstanding shape and well kept! Great round today.

Played it on the 20th May 2018. There is a lot of crab grass. Fairways aren't maintained well. The surrounding is not in good shape as well. A lot of maintenance ongoing. Carts run on gas. Restrooms are really odd. Driving range at the entrance, far away from the course (Water range) Staff was nice. With some more effort, that could get a good course. The layout is nice. HCP 21- 36 can play white.Black goes for 10 - 20 HCP.
