Great course. Very laid back, wide fairways, and overall, very well kept. Great place to play a nice relaxing round of golf under the sun and wonder about the history of Jimmy Hoffa’s involvement with the development of the area.

Pretty bad experience today. We did not have a tee time, our fault. They told us there was a tournament group starting but we could go out after them. We wound up having to wait for almost 15-20 minutes at each hole between the tee box and fairways. The group behind us gave up. And we eventually had to do the same. The group ahead of us was playing extremely slowly. More slowly than I’ve ever seen a scramble group play before. And if that wasn’t bad enough. The cruise conditions were not great. They were actually pretty bad. It how we wanted to spend our wedding anniversary that’s for sure.

Corse is in horrible shape... every green is loaded with crab grass , mold dead spots ( A LOT !!! ) and to give you an idea on the maintenance.... I watched them cut the roughs , fairways , tee boxes and then the GREENS !!! They was cutting from the tee box straight to the greens in one pass ...with the same mower !! I had to take pictures because I couldn't believe they charges almost the same price as deer run. The greens are so rough , your ball looks like a basketball dribbling across them.

Nice 18-hole course with challenging shots. Beautiful views along the greens. Be sure to finish your round with a stop at The 19th Hole for food, beverage, and your golf ball tales.

Course is a little swampy during wet seasons, but I’ve played far worse courses for triple the price. Love this place, the restaurant is good too
