In summary

Rams Hill Country Club is highly praised for its immaculate course conditions, stunning panoramic views, and exceptional customer service. The layout is described as enjoyable and accommodating for various skill levels, with added amenities like GPS-equipped carts and complimentary snacks enhancing the experience. While the club is noted for being a bit remote and occasionally expensive, some visitors mention issues with pace of play and course conditions during off-peak months. Overall, it is considered a worthwhile destination, especially during peak seasons.

One of the best tracks in all of Southern California. A bit off the beaten path but totally worth the trek. Free tacos at the turn during the spring and fall and free snocones during the hot summer months! Course is always in immaculate shape. The routing and layout are fun as well. Top notch service too. Worth an extended stay as well!

Went here in late afternoon with 20 people and sat outside. Lots of chais and sofas. Large fireplace on patio. Great views of golf course and local mountains. Usually clear skies. 70 degrees mid March. Good food and drinks at fair price. We overwhelmed servers with the number of people plus their inside dining.

What a delightful discovery on our exploration of Borrego Springs. Located up high, so the view of the area is spectacular. Lots of golfers, but we chose to just done. Food was superb and definitely recommend Berry salad. Old Fashion was perfect.

Friendly accommodating pro-shop staff and the course was immaculate ... and empty :) Other than the views and the condition of the course I'm not sure what all the fuss is about?? It's not overly long, it's wide open and really not that challenging. It's kind of expensive (they did cut us a bit of walk-in deal) though. Would love to have had time to have a bite to eat and drink afterward as the views from the restaurant/bar are spectacular.

Beautiful course with amazing panoramic views. Staff were very friendly and super helpful. Was able to rent a nice set of Taylor Made clubs and get on as a single just after twilight on a Thurs. Course was well maintained with nice bunkers and greens. Very playable layout with picture water holes. Cart was equipped with GPS, ice bucket, tees, towels. Top notch all the way. Wonderful overall experience while staying in Borrego Springs.

Played today- 06 June 2020 Ok I realize it’s June and summer time but was disappointed in my experience playing this course Greens were running slow and fairways just looked pretty spotty I guess I went into this having really high expectations and hoping to see lush fairways. In my opinion it wasn’t worth the drive from San Diego. Maybe I’ll give it a second chance sometime between Jan-March when it’s supposed to be in top condition. Great customer service though!

Played couple rounds, based on YouTube videos 8 seen. Course exceeded expectations, in very good shape, greens are reasonably fast. The staff, from pro shop to the half way stop was supper friendly and accommodating. Did i mentioned that you get free tacos in their half way stop? Full practice area, included in the fee, carts with GPS. Every hole is different. Even it is in the developmental, for most of the holes you don't see the houses, just views of the desert.

Amazing place during the right time of the year. I give it a 5 star due to the conditions I know they can get back to and for the excellent customer service. Oh and the Apple Pie Cookies along with the tacos at the turn. Great job 👏 👍

Excellent course. Played the Blues. Don't feel like it's a 131 slope. Maybe more like a 124. But very fun course. Going back in February 2026.
