In summary

Arrowwood Resort and Conference Center offers a waterpark that is generally enjoyed by children, with features like slides and a lazy river. However, many guests have reported issues with room conditions, such as inadequate heating, cleanliness concerns, and outdated facilities. Additionally, there have been complaints about poor communication and customer service, particularly regarding refunds and management follow-up.

I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this property to others. My family, along with two other families, planned a weekend stay beginning February 13 in one of their condominiums. The accommodations were not inexpensive, but we felt the cost was justified so our children could enjoy the on-site waterpark. We planned this trip months in advance and were genuinely looking forward to it. Prior to arrival, we called to confirm our check-in and were told everything was in order. However, upon entering the condo, we found several concerning issues: missing smoke detectors, worn and deter…

We stayed here recently for a hockey tournament and unfortunately had several major issues with our room. The heat didn’t work, which is a serious problem in -22° weather, and the hot water only worked for one day. The staff did try to help by providing extra blankets, but the stay was still extremely uncomfortable. Going a couple of days without being able to shower was unacceptable. If you expect basic necessities like reliable heat and hot water, be very cautious about booking here. We also asked to speak with the manager about these problems and never received any follow-up.

We used the waterpark this winter and did not stay on property. They had a morning session from 9am-2pm and an afternoon session from 3pm-9pm. Buying a wristband was only good for either the morning or afternoon, not all day. The hot tub was only for ages 12 and up, but it was not very warm. The separate pool with lily pad/ropes and a basketball hoop was actually very warm. Not quite as hot as you'd expect a hot tub to be, but great to warm up after going down the slides. The lazy river has a section that is really shallow, like only up to my shins. But if your floating in a tube it's not a bi…

We were quite excited to stay here with our 4 yr old to enjoy the waterpark while in town for a family celebration as well. Upon arriving our room was quite cold. We contacted the desk and they sent maintenance. They were nice but more ‘work’ needed to be done. We were told to wait as they had to replace something and we were brought a space heater. That was a BIG no with a child! We went to the desk again and they said we could wait to get an update on the ‘fix’ and I said how long do we wait? That we have been unable to go swimming since we were not going to bring our wet child back to a col…

**Update I have sent multiple emails and voicemails after the 30th that have been ignored I just sent the email again today please respond**Most disgusting Waterpark. I have tried reaching out regarding my experience once I asked for a refund I have been ignored! We bought the Birthday Party Waterpark Package for Dec 21st. After going down the slides all the kids ended up with rust marks on their swimsuits and scratches from the slides. In the kiddie pool the drain was broken and filled with a pool noodle instead of being repaired. Furthermore, there was rust all over within the lazy river. Th…

Kids will love the water park, but this resort is in need for major updates. Bed springs are uncomfortable, carpets wearing out, temperature control in room is difficult (we slept with balcony door wide open with outdoor temps below 5 degrees), no breakfast included, etc. For the amount they charge for rooms I'd expect more.

We had a birthday party planned a couple weeks in advance, at first everything was going pretty well. The kids were having fun but with the included price was pizza, drinks and ice cream. We didn't receive any of that. and were told to order food from an outside pizza place and we would be refunded. as we left They couldn't seem to figure out how to actually give a refund and told me I should contact my bank to dispute the charge....after almost a month and probably a dozen of phone calls to the waterpark manager and hotel front desk both not knowing how to operate or communicate....I've given…

We just completed a 35 day stay at Arrowwood. We have done this for the past 10 years and use it as our "cabin" for the month of July in one of the King Suites. We had a wonderful time. The room was cleaned regularly very nicely, the pool was very well maintained. Things were picked up and the outdoor grounds were very neat and tended to. The fireworks were terrific (the rain created a bit of a problem, but they were still great). The staff exceeded expectations and were ALWAYS very cordial and helpful. We will be back next year!! Thanks for a great stay.

Absolutely horrible. The rooms were incredible beat up and dated. The hotel never told us the water park was closed, not even when we checked in, the entire reason we came up this winter. I could get past all of that, if the management was better. Asked to speak to a manager 3 times while I was there, and called to speak to a manager 4 other times after. Somehow the manager was always busy, and never called back….this place will lose any repeat customers if they cannot improve on, at the very least, the management.

The rooms are in need of major cleaning and maintenance. Between the broken desk chair and the cobwebs, black mold in the shower. The door latch was falling apart. Plus the water park was shut down for the weekend as this was the reason for going there. Plus the cost per room was way over priced. Will not be going back.

This hotel has not invested money back into itself in well over 20 years. The carpeting is worn/stained, the AC/heating in the room is extremely outdated and can not keep up. The waterpark equipment is all stained brown from the water and never been repainted or up-kept. For what they charge per night, a new coat of paint wouldn’t hurt anyone. The staff are all friendly, it’s not far from downtown.
