In summary

Assateague Greens Golf Center is appreciated for its friendly staff and suitability for beginners, offering a par 3 course that provides a relaxed environment for novice golfers. However, many visitors express dissatisfaction with the course conditions, citing poorly maintained greens with weeds and dirt patches, as well as the high cost relative to the quality of the facilities. The driving range is generally seen as adequate, though some note operational issues and worn-out equipment.

I'll start by saying my husband and I are not golfers! But we knew this place was near the campground we stayed at. We do have clubs, so went for a couple days to use the driving range. We had a great time.

9 hole par 3 course with holes ranging from 100 to 185 yards. Greens are small and roll like the fairway on a normal course. No fairways or fringe made it difficult for my kids to get to the hole with no extra roll. Everything outside of the greens was cut as rough. $15 for 9 holes walking is steep for what you get. I had to cut our round 2 holes short as they close at 7 pm sharp.

This course would have been decent if it was $10 for a 9-hole round, but $30 (not including the $4 pushcart rental) is a scam. Tee boxes were weeds cut at rough-length, and the greens were 50% dirt patches. Forgot to take photos because I was in such a hurry to get out of here, but I recommend steering clear of this par 3 course. No review on the driving range.

Way too overpriced for a crappy maintained facility. Mentioned the quality of the brown greens to the gentleman behind the counter and was told I’m free to take my business elsewhere. Blamed it on the lateness of the season, but when the greens are brown and covered in weeds, that has little to do with seasons and more to do with lack of watering and general care. Would be a great place if the people in charge actually cared about managing a quality facility.

So have had a place in ocean city for over a decade and my kids grew up using this course. Today I am honest and pay adult prices for two 13 years old With a two carts. I use a 9 iron and putter after driving as it’s all about youth. They made me get a bag or no play. Told me the owner is “enforcing rules”. The group in front of us paid for bags for everyone, Not only are they a bag short one did not even pay to golf. I am all about being honest and paying my share. Would not even give a phone number or email to discuss with ownership. This course has turned into making money and does not appe…

A good course for beginners to learn and practice. The fairways are nice, but the greens are horrible. I would say $30 is a bit steep for a round considering the condition of the greens but then again, it’s Ocean City where everything is overpriced.

So... I had fun because I was golfing on vacation but if you are an actual golfer this isn't the place for you. The tee box were the same as the rough. The greens have dead grass and actual weeds in them. We picked a dandelion off the green to putt. The fairways are nice and the staff friendly but even the driving range is pitiful.

Greens are in horrible shape. Literal weeds sticking up all over. While the course is barely maintained it is a lovely setting and crazy cheap

So the driving range looks fine and I like they have a grass area to chip off of, but being that it’s hours of operation say 8am to 5pm I kind of assumed it would be open at 8am. Well, after getting up an hour earlier than I needed, to go hit a little before my tee time, it was not open. I’ll find a different driving range in the future to go to.

Decent range. Staff is helpful and friendly. The course isn't the best, but certainly an ideal spot for a newbie to get some golfing experience. A lot of the greens have crabgrass growing on them so they don't roll great, but as said food exposure for a new golfer. Even a decent spot for a regular golfer to work on approach shots. It's all par 3s and walking only. Good spot to go and have fun. I do think $25 for 9 holes here is a little steep for what you get.

People are very nice. Bathrooms are really clean. Tees on range are too short. Price for a bucket of balls is reasonable. Faculties are not great but only two minutes from eagles la sing golf course which does not have a range.

For $30 this course is not worth it. Greens are covered in crab grass with good sized dirt patches everywhere. Everything else is cut like normal rough. The only thing this course would be good for is working on your long irons out of the rough. There’s almost no point putting at this place unless you just want to get irrationally angry for fun. Driving range is okay
