In summary

Bayside Resort is highly praised for its beautiful, modern wedding venue and exceptional golf course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, which features a challenging layout and well-maintained greens. The staff is often commended for their organization and helpfulness, contributing to seamless events and enjoyable golfing experiences. However, some visitors mention concerns about the high cost, slow pace of play, and inflexible policies regarding walking on the course.

What a gem of a wedding venue on the Eastern Shore! We absolutely love photographing weddings at Bayside. This is not your typical golf course wedding venue. It is modern and well done with nothing tacky about it! We highly recommend checking this out as your potential venue!

Bayside Resort & Golf Club was an absolute dream venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, the staff was incredibly organized, efficient, and communicative, ensuring that the planning process was seamless. Katlyn, our coordinator from Bayside, went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and handled all the logistics behind the scenes so we could focus on enjoying our special day. A amazing perk that this venue has is that they ensure one of their own staff is your coordinator so that the planning and execution of your wedding go smoothly. The venue itself was stunn…

An exceptional course. Layout was a challenge with a 140 index. Greens were as true as one could expect and speedy. Lush and green, it was a work of art. Don't expect anything different at a Nicklaus layout. Practice facility and amenities were par for the experience. Worth every dime. Thanks to the players representative for recommending we go to Hooked up in Millville Delaware. A MUST PLAY

Greens were spectacular! True and fast! The course was wet but in spectacular shape & although it was Cartpath only we finished in just over 4 hours. (Lots of walking) Overall a great experience and I played pretty well. Thanks to the greens!

Superb Jack-designed course; challenging (especially if the wind is up), aesthetically appealing, and well-maintained. Great amenities, too…golf shop, range, instruction area, and restaurant are right by each other and very nice. The amenities on the course were great and the staff was amazing, especially Elaine, who swung by four times during our round. AWESOME experience!

Good course but not worth $120 especially compared to others that are nice and significantly less. Course was in good shape and I liked the layout. Small greens but fairways were fair and at least they don't have houses built right up on it but there likely will be as they are building more now. No driving range when I was there, they were moving things around and doing construction but had 2 hitting nets and a putting green.

Following up on Brad Taylor’s review - played Bayside a month ago when it was Cart Path Only and they also refused to let me walk with my push cart, even after 12 pm. The rationale was pace of play but as it was our round took 4:45, very slow. Management said this was a privilege reserved for their premier golf members. I talked to their sister Troon course Bear Trap Dunes and they have no such walking policy. Course is challenging, expensive, and in good shape, but disappointingly, their policies are inflexible and not accommodating to non-golf members.

Try to avoid this course when they are aerating or the course is wet. They offer a discount but you will not have a good experience. That being said, upon checking into this facility, you will know that it is a first class operation and caters to the serious golfer or someone who has deep pockets. Beginners or casual golfers should look into a nearby public course like Eagles Landing or Ocean City Golf Club. My wife, a 30+ handicapper, felt that the Ladies tees (Red/Forward) tees did not offer a fair location for people who can't drive the ball further than 150 yards. River Run in Berlin, MD,…

My husband and I held our wedding at Bayside this September and it was an amazing experience! We had the ceremony at the Point which is a beautiful outdoor setting overlooking the bay and Ocean City skyline. The setting is so nice as is that we were able to use very little additional decor. The reception was also outdoors at the 38 Degrees bar/restaurant in the same point area of Bayside. The vibe of the space fit perfectly with what we wanted- a laid back but beautiful and beachy outdoor setting. Again, the location is so nice as is that very little is needed to enhance the space! We were abl…

Great looking course, however if you want to pay $110-$120 for quality run course, this is not it. Booking 20 minute intervals on tee times only to have the starter push the next group off the 1st tee on your heals(we tee'd off at 1:45 for a 1:50 tee time). No reason we have the group behind us hitting in to our group by the second hole. Not to mention, we showed up before our round to grab a bite to eat and a crab cake sandwich, and a turkey sandwich took in excess of 30 minutes with no tables sat and only 7 other people at the bar. Great establishment for just food and a drink. Course shou…

My husband and I got married at Bayside in June of 2022 and can’t thank Mackenzie, Patty & Taryn for everything leading up to our big day and day of. Our guests are still raving about the beautiful venue and food almost a year later. So happy we chose Bayside for our day!

Love the course. Great conditions and good value. Played w Barry and Larry. Two scratch golfers that invited me to play. I had to pay their green fees too but it was worth it. Recommend the course but don’t recommend betting with those guys you’ll go home broke.
