Bears Best Las Vegas

We were greeted with a friendly welcome. AJ, the starter, went through some course rules & regulations. It's a tough course, with plenty of undulating holes and a number of strategically placed bunkers & hazards. The course is surrounded by fabulous homes & from most holes, there is a view of the Las Vegas skyline. Get to play this course ASAP because it's closing in July for a complete revamp. When it reopens, after the refurbishment, it will be a members only club.

Very well kept and beautiful course to play some good target golf. Better hot that ball straight else. Serving of good breakfast to start, clubs ready and was really just a nice place to okay. Surrounded by very upscale homes that are around it. The drinks cart would have been nice to come out sooner than after 11am when the temps are so high out here. All in all it was still really a great day for 12 of us to get together and play 18 holes then relax with a nice lunch.

I rated this course as 2 stars because of the poor condition of the course and how much it cost to play. Last week I played a course that was in the same condition for $14. This round cost me $139. The greens were fuzzy, bumpy and hard to put on. As you can see from the pictures the fairways were in OK shape, but the rough was a disaster. You can see my ball on part of the fairway right next to a mud patch. Now the layout is fun. Playing some of the greatest holes Nicholas designed is fun. I have played some of these holes on the original courses and they look just like the originals.

8/18/2024- this is my 100th round of 2024…and grateful to be here in Las Vegas to play this course. What a layout, wow. I’ve been playing golf for 14 months, and this was such a unique layout and change of pace for me. I play in NE Ohio. Great staff, hooked me up w stiff shaft Callaway clubs. Hit the range for a bit, and some chips on the practice area. From the first tee shot being a bit overwhelming, playing solo with my wife hanging in the cart I was off to a solid start. Absolutely gorgeous course. Fairway and green conditions were best and well-maintained. Also the course has a beautiful strip view. Really well designed course like challenging but so much fun. Not much elevations but bunker and green locations are testing your skills. It is a little hard to find a good deal and not-a-cheap course but definitely worth to play for sure. Would come back.

Beautiful wedding venue! We had our wedding at Bear's Best in December 2021. The venue is stunning and the food is very good. Ed, our banquet manager, was incredibly helpful and so sweet. He attended to all details and anticipated all of our needs. If my glass was empty, he was there to refill it, when we came back in after taking photos and we were cold, he was there with a hot tea. He basically turned into my maid of honor without me even asking. Look no further, this is THE venue for your wedding!

Everything about this venue was PERFECT! From the planning process start to finish, Tina, Brittany and Ed made our special day so smooth and stress free! Communication, service and hospitality were top-tier! 10/10 recommend! Having our Rehearsal Dinner here as well was a dream! Food was excellent & the views were out of this world! Stellar golfing experience. The variety of hole design is tremendous and it's a lot of fun to get the descriptions of the holes in the videos that Jack recorded. The course was in great shape and the pace of play was perfect. The course is definitely challenging, especially around the greens and course knowledge would help a lot. I missed in a few locations that left me wondering how I was ever going to get the ball close. Overall, great experience and I'll definitely play it again!

I had my wedding here at the end of September, it was everything and more that we could of asked for. The venue is beautiful from the scenery to the vibe. They brought my vision to life at this venue. With it being an all inclusive venue it helped us a lot and every vendor that came with them were a breeze to work with. The view of the venue, especially during sunset, is beautiful and very photo ready. Amazing concept. These holes are played out amazingly. The pro shop was very accommodating to get us out without a reservation. The course could use some work. The tee boxes were green and nice. Fairways were patchy and have a lot of dead spots. The greens rolled slow and the fringes were pretty beat up with dead spots. I know they are planning on making it private soon and hope they give the course the TLC it needs.

LOVED everything about this venue! They are an all inclusive so it helped with planning our wedding! Having our ceremony and reception all in one place made everything with our guest run smooth. Tina, Brittany and Ed were so amazing to work with! They were on top of everything from start to finish! We requested, they delivered! The food was aaaamazing!
