In summary

Highland Falls Golf Club at Sun City receives high praise for its stunning views, accommodating staff, and well-maintained course, appealing to both locals and visitors. The course layout is noted for being both beautiful and challenging, with a variety of holes and excellent practice facilities. While some mention that the greens can be slow or bumpy, the overall experience, including reasonable pricing and abundant wildlife, makes it a recommended choice for golfers in the Las Vegas area.

My wife and I played this course for the first time (and only time) back on 30 Oct 2020 and because I didn't remember the course all that much, I wanted to return for another round. I do, however, remember that we loved this course when we played the first round, but as you're aware, there are so many golf courses in Las Vegas (LV) that sometimes things run into each other in your head, and why not just return for another round to refresh your memory? Well, that's what we did on 19 Apr 2025 when we played at Highland Falls Golf Club for our second venture on this course. I made a tee time for…

Had to pivot to a tee time here after our flight came in 3 hrs late. Nice surprise. People there seemed super nice and accommodating. Conditions were great and while we unfortunately didn’t get to finish the last few holes, they seem to be the staple of the course and looked awesome with a fun layout as we drove back to the CH.

Played - Early August Time: 9:00 (had a 10:30 tee time) Cost: $60 w/cart (Golf Pass Hot Deal) Condition: Great for mid-summer Staff: Friendly and helpful Pace: 2hr 30min Best Part - The Views! Worst Part - Not much room to miss, slow greens Range, Short Game Area, and Putting Green A beautiful, but challenging course. Stunning views of the mountains and of the city. I was not expecting much for the price I was able to pay, and it really knocked my socks off. The condition was really good. The worst part were the greens - super slow and bumpy. I’m assuming this is normal for this time of the…

Wow. This place is incredible. We came from Dallas and arrived very early. They were happy to accommodate and earlier tee time. The course has been plugged on the greens but we were amazed by the beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Great course. The sides are sloped toward the fairway. I hit 5 fairways that I would’ve normally been in the rough. We had so much fun. The starter, Marshall, beverage girl on the course, restaurant staff, and pro shop were all 100% customer service friendly.

Choose this course as one of my three day tournament venues. Absolutely perfect in every way, course amazing, staff and facilities amazing. All the players raved about the place, we also played there sister course Palm Valley, same review for that course.

Shout out to Highland Falls for being above and beyond. After trying about 20 public golf courses in Vegas this was the best so far. The worker gave us free range balls before our tee time and the lady filled up my large cup of water for free. The course and range is spectacular with glowing fairways, smooth greens and beautiful waterfalls all for $59. Each hole is different and the elevation creates nice city views.

Played Friday twilight tee time around 230pm. As a local here, Vegas weather is harsh this time around because there is too much heat but it was a nice breeze with low temperature. Course was in great shape and in good condition. Indeed it is a short course for long hitters but you will feel the challenge enough. It was definitely a fun course for all skill levels. Purple tee would be great for juniors. Water features amazing and refreshing. Also you will be surprised how great the view is in this course. You will have time for taking pictures surely. Good value, great kind people working. Esp…

It’s sad to admit, but as a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, this was my first time playing Highland Falls. For whatever reason I had, making the trip out to the North Summerlin area was just never on my list of things I needed to do. I’m here to confess that was a big mistake. When you show up at the course, there isn’t a lot of hype to get you pumped up for the round. The parking lot and clubhouse are reminiscent of a senior citizen fitness center commonly found in the retirement communities around the valley. But once you leave that part of the property and get to the golf, things get entic…

Very nice golf course. It seemed little short course on paper but actually the fairway doesn't roll out as much , which makes the course longer. It was very pleasant golf outing overall.

The course has some nice views looking into the Vegas strip. It's a comfortable playable course with plenty of room for you to challenge it. The greens were very inconsistent and poor when I visited but think they where in a seasonal grass transition.

Nice course. Restaurant closed temporarily due to remodeling. The guy who checked me in was great, very funny, I think his name was Chris. It is located in a retirement community, where the residents are older and cranky. They receive preferred tee times, so getting in early is unlikely, and they resist being paired with non residents. Starter accommodates them first, but you have to know your audience. It's kind of pricey for the quality, of course, but it's a good place to play if you are in the area
