Beau Pre Golf Club

Beau Pre Golf Course is a beautiful gem of a course tucked in the trees just off the coast in Mckinleyville, CA. It is both a challenging and fun course for players on any level. Beautiful views, excellent greens, and a really knowledgeable and friendly staff. If your in the area, be sure to check it out, you will not be disappointed!

This golf course offers a delightful experience with its well-maintained greens and picturesque scenery. However, the fairways need a lot of TLC, as some areas could benefit from better upkeep. Despite this, the course provides a variety of holes that cater to different skill levels, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It's still a good choice for golfers looking for a relaxed round in a beautiful setting.

Had an absolute blast, great food, great staff. The course is beautiful, a lil hard to follow but well worth the trip.

A course in slow decay, charging like it’s still alive. Beautiful setting and a challenging layout, however greens are rough and patchy, fairways rock-hard and dusty. A few astroturf tee boxes. You pay full price to witness the quiet collapse of what golf used to be. Beautiful in a tragic, coastal way—but beauty does not justify the fee. Play if you must, but understand: you are not buying golf, you are buying an elegy.

Great course to enjoy, whether it's ball golf or disc golf. Played with friends and family can add to the fun competitions. Before teeing off get breakfast, x amount of eggs cooked to your liking, bacon, and hashbrowns with gravy is my go to. Take a gander at the simple menu and make your choice.

Travis and Damon seem nice and helpful to others. Good food and space with light and windows to see the players. Good beer and table/sticks. Nice antique old school golf course 😀

The location has a lot of potential; however, the fairways and greens need A LOT of TLC. Recent storms have left debris all over fairways and greens. Even after clean up is done, a lot of groundskeeping must be done to make the grounds a more serviceable golf course. At least the price is very low, only $20 for 9-holes. There are some beautiful views of the forest and from the 8th tee overlooking the Pacific Ocean in the distance.

It's a beautiful course that has definitely seen some better days. The greens we're really, really slow and incredibly patchy. But even given that it was fun and interesting.

Beau Pre Golf Course is a hidden gem in McKinleyville. It is beautiful and challenging! Staff and Groundskeepers constantly work hard to maintain and improve the course.

Love this course. We visit often. The kids like to grab a quick loaner club and head to the driving range, balls are auto dropped into a bucket. Easy peasy! Happy kids!

My wife and I were staying in Trinidad just up the road and wanted to play nine locally so we stopped in at Beau Pre. Friendly and accommodating staff. It was 2-for-1Tuesday and we rented a cart. It’s a nice little Muni course with some interesting holes. Greens overall in decent condition. Biggest areas for improvement are signage from hole to hole and repair the cart paths which currently are no better than a goat track, which would be best traveled on an ATV.
