In summary

Bennett Valley Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained course, beautiful layout amidst mature trees, and friendly, professional staff. The course offers a good mix of challenging and forgiving holes, making it enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels, and the amenities, including practice facilities and a restaurant, are well-regarded. However, some visitors have experienced slow pace of play and issues with course conditions, particularly on busy days.

The last few times I’ve played here, the pace of play has been extremely slow and almost unbearable. There are a lot of older golfers who prefer to walk the course, and on a busy Friday the holes end up stacked three groups deep. There was no marshal on the course, and the pro shop didn’t seem concerned. I’d avoid this place unless you enjoy waiting 5–10 minutes between shots. I suggest implementing a mandatory cart rule for busy days.

Bennett Valley Golf Course is one of the best public golf courses in the area, offering a beautiful and enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. The course is well-maintained, with lush fairways, true greens, and mature trees that add both beauty and challenge to each round. The layout is interesting, with a good mix of holes that require different clubs and strategies, making it fun for both beginners and experienced players. The staff at Bennett Valley are always friendly and welcoming, from the pro shop team to the starters and course marshals. They go out of their way to make…

While visiting from out of town we grabbed an early morning round at Bennett Valley Golf Course. Being from Florida we loved the change of pace this track provided. Great mix of challenge and forgiveness. The staff was super friendly, pace of play was quick but not rushed, the greens were challenging and rolling quick and the natural wildlife was crazy plentiful and always willing to hang around and say hi. Kudos Bennett Valley, it was a great showing!

We got married here, and by far Jessica and her team gave me the fairytale wedding that I didn't know I wanted. The staff were extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. The food was delicious and Jessica was extremely organized, she made sure we had all the details in order before and during the wedding. Having a wedding on the golf course gave us some amazing views and photos. The staff went above and beyond to make our day magical and they succeeded. The only negative is, I was having such a great time that I refused to cut the cake. It was 100% my fault, the staff contacted us multiple…

The course is in Salinas and I enjoyed the well maintained course with it's mature tree lined fairway. The greens were on the speedy side with both big & around the cups subtle breaks. Pro shop staff were helpful & friendly. There is a good driving range with decent mats. The only downside is that the cafe-bar is shutdown so bring ur own food and drinks (they do sell bottled water in the pro shop)

Eighty dollars for round of golf on a city course. Was shocking to begin with secondly, putting a ball down the fairway and hitting it off of hard mud is wild the tea boxes were trashed hard to find it somewhere to stick the ball, let alone even footing your greens were terrible. My ball hopped and skipped along the path then when I ordered fries, they were overcooked burnt and crispy, just a terrible bad experience might not ever come back to this place again.I don't recommend it and I don't recommend the food

They were great hosts to our large group scramble, the course was very well maintained, and pricing was fair.

Nice layout in east Santa Rosa amidst tall Redwoods especially on the back nine. A little on the soft side after a brief rain but carts were allowed 90 degrees. The $2 charge for capital improvement's was a little on the CS side which reminds me of a resort fee which should be included in the greens fee.

Bob, you and your crew have done a great job. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Golf game was okay. Keep up the good work. The crowds were minimal and the weather was perfect.. Carl from North Lake Tahoe.
