In summary

Foxtail Golf Club is appreciated for its beautiful setting, well-maintained North Course, and accommodating staff, making it a popular choice for both golf and events like weddings. However, some visitors have raised concerns about the condition of the South Course, including maintenance issues and slow pace of play. Overall, the club offers a welcoming atmosphere with good amenities, though experiences can vary between the two courses.

Ok for the money but the south course was pretty rough. Deep grass in in the rough with lots of grass clippings and white wild flowers made it hard to find our balls. Fairways were ok though. Greens were hard. Hard to land it and stick it. Putts rolled very quick. Sand traps unusable with lots of weeds and water in most. Still a nice day.

Truly disappointed how I was treated by an employee of this golf course. During my interaction with one employee, I was spoken with a tone that didn’t belong on a golf course where golfers uphold the value of respect and decency towards others as it is also common sense. A man ready to tee off on the 1st hole of South Course (needs a major renovation because the chipping green has been half DIRT for the last decade! If they can charge these expansive prices, they can definitely afford to patch up the chipping green!) even mentioned how he has had similar experience with this one employee. This…

This is quite a value. It really is a neighborhood place. The staff is unbelievable really cool very helpful, respectful and kind. I know you’re looking for details on the golf course but kind of a newbie all I know it’s green. The expensive course is to your left. That economical course is to your right if you join their sunset club, you can hit balls all day on the range. I think it’s unlimited buckets if you’re a member of this group, not sure yet, but give it a try.

My cousin was recently married at this location in a beautiful outdoor wedding surrounded by trees, lush green manicured golf course, and a little pond to the right of the wedding area. The seating area was nicely placed in front of a gazebo. They had a sweet moment in the wedding where they displayed unity by combining wine from two glasses into one. I think it was a customary since the location was in the California wine country area. The ceremony was followed by a small reception with close family and friends. I'm certain they could also accommodate large sized weddings. The hall where the…

Great course lined with Redwoods, creeks, some water. The fairways and greens are usually in great shape, I am usually able to easily get on as a single, and most of the people I've met and played with are friendly and fun. I really enjoy the flow of the course. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Great place to be! James Fish is an awesome instructor if you’re looking for lessons. They also have a good polish dog.

Foxtail management has been very good at communicating about certain issues around the course. At first someone I know had a bad experience here but I was told the management really stepped up to make sure both the course and the guest felt heard on both sides. As they need to manage two courses, players understand that they are doing their best to keep up with the course conditions. Chris and Alex from management really took their time to listen to my friend and he thanked them for the open conversation. My group and I expect to continue to play at Foxtail.

This review is for the NORTH course: Beautiful course design and layout. Perfectly placed fairway and green bunkers, reveins, natural obstacles, and wavy greens (which are in amazing shape) make this an fantastic challenge, one of the best courses for any level of golfer looking for a test of their skills. All 18 holes are a treat. Tip 👉🏻 come ready to play. The casual golfer should know this is not an executive course, it is demanding and requires all your patience and skill. Kudos to the course leadership for a masterpiece. Can’t wait to play again. (Check out great specials on GolfPass)

Recently had my wedding here, and I wish I could give 10 stars! Lexy was absolutely amazing with helping coordinate everything up to the big day! Staff were nice and very attentive to my guests and food (buffet style) was delicious! 🤌🏽 My compliments to the chef! If you’re looking for a great location to have your wedding, Foxtail got you!

The North Course is full of mud and the fairways never properly drain causing my balls to go missing which ends of costing the players more money and dirty shoes on a sunny day. South course has fairways that has absolutely no grass what so ever and the some staff are very unprofessional. Not to mention they leave trimmed grass everywhere and it blows into your face after swinging a club.

We made an adhoc decision to play as an opening came up. A beautifully maintained and friendly course with nice green and fairways. While nestled in some residential area, nature is always alongside your play. Good golf course to play if you have some 4/5 hours to spare. The enticing thing is that as seniors (Defined as 62 & above) are given a discount. 👍
