Owner is very unkind came out of his house cussing at my dad and I telling us basically how stupid and dumb we are because we didn’t know what certain markers were. We immediately tried to calm him down and we apologized and he just kept on going. Something isn’t right with him something internal🤷🏽‍♂️ but definitely shouldn’t treat people that pay to come play on your course like that. Wouldn’t recommend going here if you want a relaxing day off golf. Hopefully buddy figures it out

Outstanding golf course - always a treat to play. Has some thick rough, as it should be. Course has always been challenging and well kept. The overall value and beauty of this club are without equal. A proper golf experience, right here in Southeast Missouri. Bent Creek is my new "home course", and it's 40 minutes from my house.

Who punches and sands the greens on a Friday says nothing at checking and charges full price? This place does. There was so much sand on the greens no grass was visible on some holes.. Most courses punch the greens on a Monday or Tuesday. Course was in decent shape because of the recent rain that added some green to the fairways. But, prior to the rain it was burned out. Sod was recently added to the teeboxes and of course it's dead. Staff is NOT friendly whatsoever!! Some of the decisions about course care defy logic. Slow play has been an issue for some time and of course nothing is done abo…

Great course . Greens are very well maintained and fairways are super smooth. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Price was very comparable to two other golf courses. Definitely would go again

Really nice course, and everyone there was super friendly. Carts are in good shape, food was good, and proshop was stocked very nicely.

The owner Brad was very rude and disrespectful. We had our cart 1’ off of the cart path and he came asking why we didn’t know how to read etc etc. his tone and demeanor was very confrontational. Almost like he was above us or wanted problems. The Cart paths are extremely unkept and a lot of the greens are rough. The t-box’s are a nightmare to say the least

I’ve played at a lot of courses in the area, and unfortunately, Bent Creek falls short in both quality and customer experience. The course itself is in noticeably subpar condition – fairways and greens clearly need more care and attention. What really ruined the experience, though, was the attitude of the owner. (Be sure to wear a collared shirt underneath an already existing collared shirt if you need to cool off) Instead of fostering a welcoming environment for golfers, he came across as extremely rude and disrespectful, showing zero regard for players or their experience. A golf course sho…

A fairly decent course. Tee boxes are typically the only rough area. They’re normally, dead, dirt, or very lumpy. Would have a better experience if the owners/ management was better. They can be very rude and condescending to the golfers or the staff. Have had a pretty good experience with some workers though. Watched a manager (or owner) be disrespectful to his staff about signing receipts. Everything seems hypocritical depending on who you are. If you’re a golfer or in league there is a difference in how you’re being spoken to.

The course itself was good. Great scenery and decently challenging holes. However, greens were in rough condition. Also we went on Saturday and there was only one worker in the “pro shop”. She was pleasant but seemed overwhelmed. Also cmon you gotta have water somewhere accessible for patrons on the course. The worker had to leave the front desk and walk to their other property to fill my water bottle

Late September and the course is still in great shape. Friendly staff. Could be 5 stars if they had a full scale restaurant.

Owner made a joke/fun of one of my buddies while we were trying to golf by calling him a fisherman. Never had any problems with a course until today. Very disrespectful towards us.

Pretty run down course and the owner is rude. Teaboxes are in bad shape and don't even mark them, so you have no idea where the black or white tee box is supposed to be. Bunkers didn't have sand in them. Cart paths are a safety issue, cracked anymore and you would think it was gravel path, which would be smoother. We played on a weekday and had a mid morning tee time. A group caught up to us and we waited at the next tee box to let them pass us. And they complained to the owner about it. And the owner drove out to us and didn't ask any questions or confirm anything. And said we need to spe…
