In summary

Big Sky Resort Golf Course is often praised for its stunning mountain views, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff, creating an enjoyable golfing experience. The course layout is generally considered straightforward and accessible, making it suitable for a range of skill levels. However, some visitors express concerns about the high pricing, inconsistent customer service, and occasional maintenance issues, such as uneven fairways and slow pace of play.

For 95$ I was hoping for a great time but over all pretty disappointed. Guest services with no common attire, so I was wondering who to talk to. You can’t expect golf attire from golfers and staff is not properly dressed. Turfcare was working around a couple greens (2:30pm) (might be fine for them to get hit by a ball, but it feels not comfortable to hit, when they are around)… they should at least lift the head and wave, so the golfers know, they are aware. Fairways are pretty rough with lots of uneven spots. Fairways have lots of different coloured spots.. a it doesn’t look really smooth. Mo…

Beautiful views of the Lone Peak mountains from all holes. The Arnold Palmer designed course itself is well maintained and beautifully manicured. The course is relatively simple with flatter fairways and obstacles. You can get one of your best scores here while enjoying the views. Friendly service at the pro shop, starter and cart helper. I played their with my 9 year old son and they were all super nice to him.

Enjoyable round of golf with dad on last full day activity while in Big Sky. Course layout was not extremely challenging (good for first time visitors) with only one water hole on #18. The river running along several holes and the mountain scenery throughout round was nice. Day price of $90 was a little steep as was the $60 rental club fee. Shot almost a record low round so definitely makes it memorable!

The course was in fantastic condition, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the views are amazing! Also, the food at the Bunker Grill was excellent.

Holy smokes this place was AWESOME. We played here three times during the week and the conditions were great. Prices are a little steep during the day but twilight has the right pricing. We rented the golfboards the last day and I highly recommend these things. I also almost holed 17 with a gap wedge.

Watch your bank card statements!!!! My daughter, granddaughter, and I had lunch in the Big Sky Cafe on July 13, 2025. Watch your bank account as the bartender Brian, who told us that they don't accept cash, took my bank card and then, after lunch, added a $10 tip to our bill. The Club, or Brian, also added another almost $90 charge to my debit card for a purchase that I did not make. My bank caught this fraud at about the same time that I did. After calling the Club and requesting to speak to the Treasurer or President of the Club, no one would return my call.

This was a fun course in a beautiful setting. Wasn’t too challenging and the pace was pretty good. Plus, who cares about slow play when you have views like this!
