In summary

Black Sands Golf Course is consistently praised for its well-maintained 9-hole layout that caters to golfers of all skill levels, with particular appreciation for its consistent greens and scenic setting. The staff and owners receive high marks for their exceptional hospitality and customer service, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While some visitors found the cost for 18 holes with a cart to be slightly high, the overall experience, including the restaurant and additional amenities like Finn Scooters and an indoor simulator, is highly recommended by patrons.

Amazing all around. 9 hole course with good design, making play fun for all skill levels. The landscape is in in pretty good shape and greens are consistent firmness and speed from one hole to the next. Hospitality from the owners and staff was beyond excellent! They treat you like a person, rather than just a transaction. They also had Finn Scooters to ride around the course on, which just amplified the already great experience. We will definitely be back.

Visiting from MN and did 9 holes late in the season. Very beautiful small town course. I absolutely love the black sand as is the course's namesake. Would highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Love this course have been here several times and always a great experience but the last time went was above and beyond ! We encountered some Very Rude entitled OLD men who were extreamly unkind and quite hateful on the course and one of the grounds keepers over heard it and met us a few holes past to let us know he had addressed the situation without us ever mentioning it! Then later on he and another grounds keeper came and brought us out some drinks on the course! Absolutly Above and beyond these guys need a Bonus and or a raise ! We will be back Black Sands and ready to have some fun also…

I don't golf anymore so I can't comment on the course other than it looks great. The restaurant is fantastic. The meats are all locally scoured. The plates are substantial and reasonably priced.

9 hole local course. It is a good course for new to moderate golfers. Everyone was friendly and courteous from the staff and other golfers. No pressure golf at its finest. It is worth the drive to check it out, if you are from out of town. We plan on another day trip soon.

Food was good. Could bring the receipt to the table though. I'd still be waiting for it I'm sure if I wouldn't of went to counter.

I thought $62 was a little steep for 18 with a cart (played 9 holes twice). Greens rolled true and the course was in decent shape. The staff was great!

Good food. Minimal bar scene but they already have darts, charitable gambling, and are expanding to include a golf simulator. This is turning into a very fun place.
