In summary

Camden Braes Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its welcoming community, friendly staff, and well-maintained course layout that offers a mix of challenging and forgiving holes. The clubhouse amenities, including a popular restaurant, add to the overall positive experience. However, some visitors have raised concerns about dry conditions affecting the fairways and greens, particularly during hot summer months, and occasional discrepancies in pricing when booking online.

Played Men's league. Great community. Course was a little dry in the fairways over the hot summer months(*late July & August) Course is well cared for and a great challenge.

Meh... Not impressed. 'Fairways' indistinguishable from the rough, dry and sparse. Greens are terribly maintained, pitted. The course can boast being the most environmentally friendly, only relying on mother nature... But the green fees are not reflective of the quality of the course. Knock the fees in half, then no complaints.

I'm only able to get out a few times a season, so I'm kind of picky where I play. I've been to Camden Braes twice this month and look forward to returning. The course conditions are excellent; well trimmed fairways and outstanding greens. The restaurant? Fuggedaboutit- what's better than a cold beer after a round? A COLD ONE SERVED IN AN ICED GLASS!!! The Philly steak sandwich is excellent, and although it's something simple, fresh cut fries cooked to perfection is something I look forward to. Wonderful place; you can't go wrong.

I’m going to leave four stars. While we had the last tee off time so did not get to look through the clubhouse. Order food or cart service as we were again the last tee time (6:10) and only played the back nine. “The Good” - The clubhouse, full amenities and I was impressed. I could smell the food as we walked up.. 🤤. Overlooks at elevation of the 18th green. - Service is friendly and polite. Miranda was who we dealt with and she was great. - Course Layout (back nine) very forgiving tee shots with a wide fairway on most holes 10-18. I enjoyed the size of the course and the layout is very ni…

Just played here for the first time with my son and we both loved the course. Condition was pretty good, especially with all the dry weather we've been having. Layout is a good mix with some tight and open holes and water hazards with some decently sloped greens. Definitely the best value in the Kingston area, especially when combined with the great food at the pub! The staff are awesome as well...we can't wait to go back :)

Pretty nice. I liked the layout The course is pretty dry. At least gave me some extra distance driving.

Food was delish and staff seemed friendlier than the last time I played there, but the course isn't in good condition. Greens were okay, but some of the tee blocks and fairways were like playing in an average person's grass. Prob worth spending 10$ more and playing a course that's better cared for.

Good course, great service and food. Not sure why I only gave it 4 stars. It should be 5.

There are some dry areas on the course but that is a problem most places during a heat wave. I like the layout of the course and the tee blocks and greens are in good shape. We play every Tuesday and enjoy it.Good price and staff are great.

Nice last day of summer drove out to play 18. 4 x 4 groups in a golf outing. I let the last group go ahead. Pace of play was very slow even for them hitting best ball and within 3 holes were behind a full hole. Had to jump ahead as they didn't understand the concept of playing thru. Back 9 was worse with none of the 4 fellows very often keeping a shot in play. Waited every hole on the back 9 - no concept of golf etiquette and they weren't even drinking!!! Doubt I'd support local golf again. My $40 better spent a different venue. Surprisingly the course was in reasonable condition with a few of…

I play here every now and then. Is a long course and wide open. Good for amateurs that can make a contact. Would not recommend for beginners has some of the holes are fairly long. The ground tends to be very hard on most holes. For a long course it does play quick. I will most certainly be going back for another round next year. I should mention that the girl in the Pro Shop could use a smile and a be a little bit more friendly.
