In summary

Canajoharie Country Club is praised for its well-maintained course, fast greens, and scenic setting, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers. The staff is noted for their friendliness and the food receives high marks, with many appreciating the value of the lunch and golf specials. While the pro shop could be better stocked, the overall experience is considered a great value, though there was a rare complaint regarding customer service related to a billing issue.

Canajoharie Good and Country Club is well worth the 50 minute drive from the Capital Region. The course is in excellent shape with the greens bet soft but very fast. John and his staff go out of their way to insure players have a great time while visiting. The food is outstanding and the selection of beers and hard seltzers if quite large. We are so looking forward to returning good another round of golf.

Based on the recent reviews, I played this course on 7/24/25 as a senior, walking golfer traveling through this part of the state. I teed off around 10:30AM and finished around 2:45PM including a 30-minute lunch break. I paid $39 for the privilege, and it was well worth the money for my 7.3 miles of walking on this sunny and very warm late July day. My positive experience mirrors the reviews. The course plays longer than the yardage. I played from the tips and thought the yardage was about 250 yards longer than advertised, which is largely due to the elevation changes. There are plenty of bli…

Older course that does not play long. Price was reasonable for the conditions. A couple of the early holes are quirky. It helps to drive up ahead if you have a cart to preview the hole.

My husband and I played a great round, the course is well kept and people friendly. We also appreciated our well behaved pup could come.

Great golf course! Fast greens and well-kept fairways at a reasonable rate. Be sure to try the Tuesday or Thursday lunch and golf special. It is well worth it. Great views of local countryside. Staff is friendly. For the most part, easy to get out on.

The course is extremely peaceful and very well maintained because it is operated by only one owner who is totally hands-on. The restaurant serves great food and the Thursday Night Buffet is terrific after playing a round. The view from the porch is phenomenal!

Great course, well maintained. Food is good as well. Only thing they are lacking is a decently stocked pro shop. Great place to golf and eat though!

Nice golf course in a lovely setting. I'm not much of a golfer but I love the setting and the look of the course, plus the rustic bar/restaurant and golf shop. $4 for about 20 balls at the driving range. $1 for a bag of tees. It's a pretty laid back place.

Fun course. It was a little dry when we played this past weekend, but that's not their fault. Very long and tight course. Greens were really quick... Despite being recently watered. Very well manicured course overall. Clubhouse drinks and menu were great! Definitely planning to come back here. I will not allow this course to be a one-time-play, and neither should you.
