In summary

Carlton Trail Regional Park Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained and challenging nine-hole course, friendly staff, and beautiful setting with a variety of family-friendly amenities such as mini-golf, hiking trails, and a swimming area. Many visitors appreciate the park's relaxing atmosphere and the range of activities available for all ages. However, some guests have noted issues with the driving range, including inconsistent ball availability and lack of yardage signs, as well as occasional maintenance disruptions and difficulty in obtaining firewood promptly.

A pretty park surrounded by beautiful lake and a well maintained 9 hole golf course that has rolling hills on it. We had a 40' motorhome and parked on a spacious grass covered spot with water and 30 amp power. The bathrooms and showers although old were clean. Finding our assigned space was challenging as there were no campground maps available. Staff were very friendly.

The park is beautiful with plenty to do that’s for sure and the staff are friendly. I mainly go for the driving range but I’ve almost never had a smooth experience with this. I would really appreciate if they were more consistent with having driving range balls available during operating hours and if they removed the red spray paint from them. I don’t like having to clean my clubs every time I use the range due to paint transfer. They are more than likely repurposed balls golfers had lost to begin with, no need to be stingy with them possibly being stolen if they aren’t yours to begin with guy…

Awesome place to visit on a sunny day or for a family camping trip. The lake is great for swimming with some nice inflatable trampolines and climbers. They added a slip and slide and bounce castle this year, and the park is always great! There's mini golf and golf here as well.

Very friendly but campsite was dirty (carpet pads, broken solar light, random bits of garbage. Bathrooms were ok...nice hot water... campground map very confusing!

Nice time, friendly people. Privacy was good. Some updates needed with washroom facilities. Loved the little wildlife visitors. Check-in was not possible for us due to late arrival and it was difficult to find our site. Also no wood available then. A few under-aged golf cart drivers were seen throughout our stay and also some trends driving much too fast. Mini-golf course was fun. Overall, a very positive experience and we hope to visit again.

A real gem on the prairie. We have visited Carlton Trail many times and it is a great place to get away and relax. The golf course is in great condition and challenging. Staff was friendly and helpful. Camping and facilities are good.

Great park, beautiful with lots of amenities. Minigolf was great, and there are many parks and walking trails to enjoy for families. My older kids enjoyed the driving range. It was difficult to get firewood and pretty pricey. I received a pile at 7pm my first day there for $40 that lasted me less than 24 hours. I asked the next day at 1pm for more firewood and paid. I checked in at 5pm if I would receive my firewood soon as I had to make supper for my kids and required the fire. I was told it would come at 8pm, as the employee who would deliver my wood was golfing. So, I drove to Langenburg a…

I have been going here for many years, even though the lake is small I have many memories. Swimming lessons are offered once in July and August for 1 week twice a day. Got through swimmer 1-6, and the 3 life guarding ones. Also found my mom's ring that was lost for 10 years in the lake. This is where my whole childhood was spent. So much to do, minigolf, fish at dicky dock, there are many hiking trails that I've got memorized like the back of my hand, one of them even has a bridge and a birdwatching tower.

I had visited last year and been out twice this year, the staff has improved from the previous, met a rather large young man I seen him weed whacking and our power kept going out. He diagnosed the problem hot weather and an AC with a clogged filter kept tripping the breaker by working harder. When he finished I caught him in the club house later in the day and it was refreshing to see a couple working at the same place as his wife was serving. He explained there has been a fair bit of employee turn around and apologized about the wait as staffing was short. Most importantly this young man, v…

They charge $1.00 a ball, if you don't have any, you can buy brand new. I am not sure how much they charge. They do have a restaurant, I didn't eat there, so I'm not sure on that. They're licensed, its said $4.50 a beer and hard alcohol- I don't know how much that was. They course had quite a few spots that they were fixing. That staff were very nice, I would go again, hopefully all that grass is fixed. :-)

Nice family park, swimming area had lots of sea weed which was uncomfortable for some in my group. Weather was so nice we took advantage of swimming lots. Golf course is fantastic.
