In summary

Casolwood Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained greens, friendly staff, and affordable pricing, offering a pleasant golfing experience with a mix of challenging and straightforward holes. The course is generally well-kept, though some visitors note issues such as slow pace of play, lack of sand traps, and occasional drainage problems. While the overall layout and service are praised, a few reviewers mention concerns about the condition of the fairways and the presence of mosquitoes.

Beautiful course neatly designed and nestled amongst huge variety of backdrops. Amount of people that DO NOT fix the ball marks on the green is ridiculous though. Yes it's an honor to make, but DAMN people, don't be lazy and leave it screwing it up for those playing afterwards.

A nice, affordable course. It's usually quiet, but watch out if there's a geriatric league hanging around. It literally took a lady 3.5 hours to play 9 holes today. It's not really the owner's fault, but he could have sent some storm-troopers out to hurry them along...

Great course great price friendly staff. The course is an established golf course that is wide open with water hazards on some holes. Very well manicured greens! Nice mix of 3, 4, and 5 par holes. Great place with great fun for any golfer

This course would be great for beginners to learn on. There are no sand traps but a few hazards. Fairways for the most part are wide open so if you do get in trouble it’s easy to recover. I wouldn’t call what grows in the fairways grass and most of the second cuts are full of clover. The greens were small and challenging as they are sloped. They were extremely fast. I also think their distances are shorter than what’s marked especially on some of the par 3’s. The 13th was posted as 110 yards but was barely 70 yards. I over shot all but one of the par 3 except for one. One par 4 the yardage mak…

This is a "don't judge a book by it's cover" golf course. Although the facility looks run down, cart paths are rough and the course is not necessarily aesthetically pleasing, the greens at this course are some of the best I've played. They roll true, consistent and at a good pace. However, make sure you are below the hole on many because they can be slippery! The rest of the course is not terribly challenging. There's not 1 bunker on the course but you do need to be aware of some of the "junk" you may find yourself in if you're not careful with your tee shots and approaches. Overall a very ple…

Course was very well maintained. Loved the hole that was up against the thruway. Hole 11,14,18 was slightly confusing. But other than that, great course. Greens were impeccable.

The course is just ok the greens during summer where very hard and crazy fast. For a sub course I thought $28 was high, but I don't golf much and it was a Saturday. The young lady was very nice, and when I left my club on one of the greens they took my number and the next day called they found my club so great customer service very friendly and caring

Decent course but horribly rude staff. I've only been twice but both times was put off by the rude owners. Standing water right next to all the holes so expect mosquitoes. Cigarette butts all over. Would not recommend for anyone seeking a leisurely golf experience.

Visiting from SW Michigan, so we are spoiled. Staff was very friendly. Carts top notch. Greens were in good shape and tough as they aren't very big and have good undulating slopes. Not a long course and nothing that looked like a fairway from the rest. I'm 64 and played back tees. 42 front. Didn't finish back due to very slow play by people who'd rather drink than play a good game. There were many. Someone dropped their ganja in a medical bottle. We left it in a place where it will be found. Paid $56.00 for 2 with cart. Can play Marywood GC at home for $40.00 (non member). Much tougher and nic…

Awesome golf course with tricky holes mixed with regular ones. Greens were in great shape despite the dry weather. Friendly staff made for a great experience.

Fun course, long hitters will be within a wedge everytime. Small greens are challenging, and the fairways are narrow. Keep it in play or bring extra balls.
