In summary

Club de Golf Lachute is widely praised for its excellent course conditions, beautiful layout, and friendly staff, offering a welcoming atmosphere for golfers of all levels. The two 18-hole courses are well-maintained, with smooth greens and picturesque surroundings that enhance the golfing experience. However, some players have noted that the rough can be challenging and the drainage on certain holes could be improved, though these issues do not significantly detract from the overall enjoyment of the course.

I played #1 Thompson on a Saturday morning (late spring). Pace of play was good, not too much waiting. Greens and fairways in very good condition. However, the rough on this course is too long, especially beside the greens. Its frustrating having to repeatedly waste time looking for your ball in green side rough when you just watched exactly where it landed seconds earlier. Despite the interesting design and good overall conditions, not likely to play here again if they keep the rough at this length all season. It made for a really frustrating round.

Challenging but fair. Classic old-style layout. The course was in excellent condition. Staff and other patrons were super-friendly! Worth the drive!

It was our first time playing at Lachute and Ben saw we were two older ladies and immediately suggested a ladies group to play with and moved around tee times to accommodate this. We had an absolute blast. What a great golf course!

What a nice Golf Club ! Club de Golf Lachute is a classic Laurentians golfing destination that blends beautiful scenery with a challenging and rewarding course layout. With two 18-hole courses set among rolling fairways, mature trees, and water features, it offers a variety of play that appeals to both seasoned golfers and those just looking to enjoy a relaxed round in nature. The fairways are well maintained, the greens are smooth and true, and the pace of play is generally comfortable, letting you enjoy each shot without feeling rushed. Staff are welcoming and professional, creating a frie…

WOW, what an amazing job this administration has done on and off the course. You can feel the vibe when you show up, the people are nice and the staff is super cordial. This is a totally different experience from the past administration and I was happily surprised with the result. Highly recommend for any level golfer !

How do you know that the golf course you belong to is in good hands? When you see the GM(Benjamin Painchaud) and one of the top amateurs in Quebec (LP Coursel) working alongside the amazing ground crew making improvements on the course. Lachute is in very good hands.👍

Played the Watson. This course is in great condition. Only reason I didn’t give it 4 stars because a couple of the greens and fairways have some rough patches.

The course is getting to be a 5 star, I played the Thompson and was only able to play some of the first nine, I want to thank the manager for his kindness towards me and my health.

The staff was very nice and helpful to me, as I'm making my comeback from cancer, the course was in beautiful shape plus the greens are just great, it was a wonderful day for me. I played #2 for twelve holes only right now working my way back. Ray Grant
