In summary

Cotuit High Ground Golf is praised for its friendly atmosphere, welcoming staff, and challenging layout despite its short yardage, making it a great spot for beginners and families. Many appreciate the affordable rates and the scenic, hilly terrain that adds to the course's difficulty. However, some visitors have noted that the fairways can be dry and uneven, and the course's compact design can lead to confusion about hole placement.

Nice little 9 hole - great for beginners - the fairways were dry and fast in August.

Love this place! $20 for 9 holes, not trying to be fancy, and a great place for a casual round

If your looking for a very relaxing 9 hole par 3 golf course than this place is great. Very nice staff and relaxed atmosphere. What a great place to teach kids. It is a bit on the short side, so don't compare it to larger par 3 courses. Go mid week to avoid crowds. Oh I almost forgot to mention, they have a full bar as well. Nice to sit on the patio and have a cold one after the round. Very pleasant experience.

Have golfed here over the years with my cousins and family. Cant say enough about it, it's a 9 hole course that is very deceiving. You think it wouldn't be hard but it is. It's very challenging and very hard to master unless you have played there for years. Love the place it's very family and community oriented. Always a pleasure!

I played here when I was a kid, my father was a member for many years and would take me there.... I would wait until they were done playing then go out and play. I loved it and learned some good skills playing here. I still remember driving over the swamp on the fifth hole. The Heher family ran it and all pitched in some way or another and they were the nicest people you could find. I have so many fond memories of my time spent there. It's great to see it's still in operation and that Paul Heher is running it with the same emphasis on fun and family that his father Jack did.

Paul and his wife are super cool people and so is their dog Stanley! Simple looking course but the most challenging around. Great price and good times all around!

Cute course. Expect hills. And it's definitely a place you want to play with a regular. (At one point I could see 4 different greens & had to double check which one we were hitting to)

Fairways are like walking in a cow pasture full of dirt and weeds, tree branches, rocks, etc. Hard to find level ground to leave a pull Cart while putting on the postage stamp greens. If it weren't for the greens I wouldn't even give it 1 star. They could pay me to play there again and I wouldn't even return. Short par 3's, 6 of them at or under 120 yards, 1 275yd par 4. If you miss the greens par is nearly impossible. Not a fun course.

This country club boasts some of the most scenic views on Cape Cod. Designed by Darnold Ross, a full time plumber from Mashpee. While the course is short in terms of yardage, it is often called "the toughest 1239 yards in golf" The course is located 10.4 miles from the Kennedy Compound
