Ashland Golf Club is an outstanding course—well-maintained, scenic, and fun to play. The layout offers a great mix of open and tree-lined holes, with gentle elevation changes that add to the experience. Greens were in excellent condition: smooth, fast, and consistent. Fairways were lush, and the bunkers were in solid shape. The course is fair but rewards accuracy and smart shot selection. The staff is excellent—friendly, helpful, and professional from start to finish. Pace of play was just right. Definitely one of the best public courses in the region—worth the drive.

Great course condition and open to the public. Last week we played a practice round in preparation for this week's NOPGA tournament. It was $35 for a green fees and a cart. The course is in excellent shape!

I'd give the course conditions a B+ and play a B-. A fairly easy course - if you can hit straight. Nothing particularly challenging about this course.

Drove from Niles, OH about hour and 40 minutes to meet a friend in Columbus half way. Played during the day, on a Thursday. Solid prices for fall. Course is great, well taken care of too. Staff was friendly. Would definitely play again here. Course is pretty simple layout, which is sometimes a nice change. Had a great time playing here. Check it out if in the area for sure.

Course great shape, Layout is phenomenal, will use all clubs in your bags from.the white tees 35$ great price, Still a 5, But All red flags on every hole, if no GPS on cart it is hard to see if it is front middle or back, once that is addressed, all is perfect! 9.9 put of 10 because of that! Food is great also!

Our travel group of senior players really enjoyed playing at Ohio’s #1 golf course. With temperatures in the mid nineties, we were greeted with a large bag of ice and water for each four some. The course was in great shape and the staff was terrific. From the front check-in to the young lady who served us drinks and popcorn after our round in the snack bar. We will return!

This golf course is awesome. Great shape, fun and challenging holes, great staff and nice practice facilities. I accidentally left my phone and golf bag and they held it for me and kept my stuff safe. Stellar service!

4 1/2 hours to play 18 with a tee time at 3pm. Slow group in front of us could have cared less. We called clubhouse, and they told them to play ready golf. Didn't help. Had no food cause girl running bar went home. This was a Saturday afternoon. Course itself was in ok shape. They claim to be #1 course and have people playing golf in cutoff shirts.

The course is beautiful but no course management enforced, 2 of us waited 32 minutes on 2nd hole behind a 4 man scramble, they never offered us to play through, expressed our EXTREMELY SLOW PLAY at turn, nothing was resolved. We will never be back to this course.

The lay out was very nice but the greens were really slow and bumpy they are rated number one public golf course on golf pass but I know of about ten other that are a lot better in Ohio

Hidden gem between Cleveland and Columbus. This was a private course several years ago that converted to public. Fairways today were lush and nicely cross-cut manicured. Greens were in nice shape and quick. Terrain is rolling, greens can be tricky to read and most greens are sloped requiring speed control for downhill putts. Plenty of tree-lined holes but wide enough to be fair. There is a creek or three that meanders through the course that requires consideration. I recommend the course highly for the +average to accomplished golfer. Beginners and high handicappers will struggle mightily.
