In summary

Covington Links Golf Course is appreciated for its scenic location by the Missouri River, challenging layout with large greens, and friendly staff, making it a favorite for many long-time golfers. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, such as overgrown fairways and unclear signage, as well as inconsistent service experiences. While the course offers a unique golfing experience, some areas of upkeep and customer interaction could be improved.

The older woman working inside is rude and condescending. I'm new to golf and she made me feel like I was playing too slow even though the place was dead and no one was playing behind me. I couldn't enjoy the rest of my game because I felt like I was taking too long to play, I ended up leaving without playing all 9 holes. For $35/person I should be able to play 9 holes at my own pace if I'm not interfering with others and not be talked down to.

The only reason this review isn't a 1 star is because I don't want to give them the option to appeal and remove it. This IS the worst golf course I've ever played on, there isn't a fairway on any of the 18 holes, it's all rough. The greens looked like they were mowed by drunk, the tee boxes were ridiculous. There was almost no way of telling where the next hole was because half of the signs were either facing the wrong way or laying on the ground. It looks like a hoarder mowed his property and decided to charge people 45 dollar to go lose golf balls that under normal circumstances would be i…

SAVE YOUR MONEY DONT GO HERE!!! You’ll be spending just about as much on bug spray as you will the green fees! This corse has potential with great scenery yet it is so hard to enjoy when all your doing is trying to keep the mosquitos off of you. If all your looking for is a place to drive a cart around and enjoy nature this is a great place to do it, however it is not very good for anything else.

The course has so much opportunity, it has beautiful scenery, having so many massive trees and a view of the river. Our time unfortunately was not so great because of the poor service, awful cart (which we were over charged for), and lack of care of the greenways. The fairway was not mowed, and the tee-boxes were impossible to find. The one bathroom on the course is awful.

I've always liked this course. Sure there are some trees, but there's very little water and no sand bunkers. The course is flat. Greens are large and well kept. It's a fair course for any golfer. It can play long, short or in-between. Staff is very friendly.

One of the worst gold courses I’ve ever been to. Staff was extremely rude and aggressive. Have given the place multiple chances and each time have been horrible encounters. Would never recommend coming.

If you're ready for a challenge and fun go to this course. It's never been busy when I go so it won't take you long. This course really mixes things up, long par 5's, shorter par 5's. Long par 4's, shorter par 4's, mid length par 4's. The par 3's are shorter except for 1 that is 200 yards. The greens are HUGE, and they roll true. The speeds can change depending on the weather, but are faster than average. There are massively old trees on this course that come into play and that's what presents the biggest challenge. Keep your eye on the ball all the way down but really as long as you do that y…

Great golf course and great views! My friends and I have golfed on this course for over 30 years and I hope we have many additional years as well. Marty & Bobbi (owners) are a pleasure and treat golfers as if they are part of the family.

Situated in a beautiful setting by the Missouri River, this links course could be amazing. Unfortunately the view is marred by run down out buildings, decrepit machinery and too much deferred maintenance. If you don't care about these visuals, you will be rewarded by play on a fun golf course.

Very nice course but lots of tree lined fairways. Better for straight ball hitters.
