In summary

Coweta Club at Arbor Springs Plantation is appreciated for its challenging layout and scenic setting, with some visitors enjoying the course's unique elevation changes and affordable pricing. However, many guests express concerns about the course's maintenance, citing issues with the condition of the greens, tee boxes, and fairways, as well as the state of the clubhouse and facilities. Additionally, there are frequent reports of slow pace of play, uncharged golf carts, and inadequate customer service, which detract from the overall experience.

Just stay away and take your money somewhere else. This club is run about as poorly as I've ever seen. We got there early to hit off the range. No range balls. There was a line for carts. And the pace of play was the worst I've ever seen. Tee time was at 210 we didn't get done til 740. And the cart boys were riding around rushing us to get the carts in. If my tee time is at 210 you better believe I'm going to play a full 18. Staff seems not to care about anything which makes sense because we've heard the owner doesn't either. We only came because our friends live near and wanted to play.

We were the only people we saw on the course and the GM Lewis went out if his way to give us a hard time. The lady we paid with at the beginning of our 18 was the only redeeming quality of the course. We won’t be back.

3rd time playing here and first 2 times were good but this time was not. Trash cans were extremely full. They let a family of 4 in front of us with their little kid and let him play and it took nearly 4 hours to get through the first 9 holes. I’m not the best at golf but that is insane. We skipped stopping and went to the 10th hole and that family left but then another group was taking 30 minutes a hole so we just gave up and left.

Went there today with a few buddies and this course is the place golf goes to die. The Tees had zero grass on them it was just a mix of sand and dirt. The bathrooms had mold on the ceilings, and the greens were so bad I’ve had golf balls roll better on the beach than on those greens. If you have any respect for the game don’t give this course your money.

The layout is fun and challenging. But the conditions may be the worst I have ever played. And I have been playing for 50 years. The tees are rock hard and have no grass. The fairways and rough is fair to ok. The greens are completely gone. Most have more spots of fungus than grass and there are weeds throughout. The club house is complete shambles. Not sure if it is run down or what. There was a pool that was green. In all honesty it is a shame. The potential is huge. I would be curious what the back story is.

Nice layout. Course I mediocre shape at best. Tee boxes bad. Greens ok. Price too high for course condition.

The greens were not smooth and have a lot of Ball marks that were not repaired. We had a great time but the course needs work

Decent course, nice fairways, you will lose your ball 3 feet off the fairway with the worst greens ever and priced like a top notch course. I’ll spend my money somewhere else.

Greens are in great shape. Fairways are decent. Some rough spots. Newer carts are good too. However, the lack of a marshal led to excruciating pace of play. Had to skip multiple groups and still too almost 5 hours for 18. Fix the pace of play and I’d play here every weekend.

We just finished playing in this "Cow Pasture!" Worst golf course I've played year in years!!! We had an 8:00/8:10 tee times, but the lady that works the pro shop didn't open until 7:55. What in the HeLL??? And charged $58 to play this TRASH!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬

Played in June 2024. The recent lack of rain left the fairways really dry and fast. The defining characteristics of this course are elevation changes and blind shots, which was fun initially as a change from most courses. After several holes, the novelty wore off. We hit several really good tee shots that the hard pan fairways didn’t hold and we never found due to blind doglegs and downhill/sloping fairways. Do yourself a favor and drive out on the fairway if you’re not sure of the terrain. The greens were well watered (and slow.) The bunkers were in rough shape. The green fees are inexpensive…
