Played both the Valley and the Tournament courses this past weekend in an event. Both courses were in great shape, the greens were pretty quick, though the Valley Course greens are hard as rocks, and don't receive shots well. This makes the Valley very difficult, as the green complexes are very undulated. I played both of my rounds in the morning so wind wasn't a big issue until we were finishing. Coyote Creek Golf Course was the perfect venue for my husband's retirement party. We had the event at the outdoor patio (which was covered and secured). It was the perfect spot for our group, not too hot, not too cold, with a light breeze coming through. The views were lovely and the freedom to roam onto the courtyard patio was a plus! The Event Coordinator, Miranda, was a pleasure to work with. She was flexible, accommodating, and clear with all arrangements. Really enjoyed this track. You will need a good driver on several Valley course holes. Good opportunities to score. Very open fairways, little to no elevation. Greens, fairways, and bunkers were in good shape. Nice practice facility with practice putting green. We were there Memorial Day but pace of play was still very good. Friendly pro shop that's well stocked. To go bar/grille was a bit slow so plan on a 15-20 minute wait for food.

Great venue for our daughter’s quinceanera! Beautiful setting and event space, nice patio and outdoor space to enjoy the views and take photos. Miranda, event manager, was very helpful in the planning process leading up to our event, made the planning process easy. Very professional, answered all of our questions, offered suggestions/ideas. And Star was great helping everything run smoothly during the event. I would definitely host an event there again.

We played the Tournament Course which I didn’t find as tough as last time I played it 20 years ago. The course had just been aerated, but was still in very good condition. The holes on the upper side of the 101 are the most interesting and visually appealing. Pace of play was excruciatingly slow. At the turn I pointed out to a course marshal that the group in front of us consisted of five players. I have never experienced this on a quality course before and since we were a twosome, we waited typically 5-10 minutes per hole. This place is awesome. It has one of bay area's best golf courses and a nice restaurant. Parking is very big and is handicap ♿️ friendly. Restaurant has one of great party area and outdoor seating with amazing views. If you are hosting a bday party please be sure to make good food arrangements. They cater their own food items. It also has a nice gift shop. Restrooms are handicap ♿️ friendly. Great getaway from busy bay area.

Vary course was in great shape. I used a Finn golf scooter which was way cooler then using a cart

There are 6 groups on one hole. This is how terribly this course is managed. We’ve not seen a marshal for the entire 18 holes and we’ve just spent 25 minutes the wind pushing right waiting on one hole with 6!!!! groups on the same hole…… this isn’t worth $150…. What an absolute joke.

Great course!! Trees and bunkers throughout every hole which made ball placement critical. Front 9 had about 6mph winds and slowed down on the back nine. Pace of plan on Thursday Feb 20, was a bit slow (~30min) but was manageable. Staff were super-friendly overall good value. A great walking course, but it is long. I definitely recommend.

Both the valley and tournament courses are designed by Jack Nicholas, played at the Valley Course, I would say it's a fine course, as there's not much design on the set-up of the courses, except Hole 7 needs to fly the ball across the pond, the rest are plain and simple. Maybe this is the way it was designed to be.

It’s honestly the worst value in the Bay Area. For $140, the bunkers are full of rocks, the tee boxes are uneven, and there isn’t a single hole where you’re not near the freeway with tons of road noise. They force you to use a golf cart (no walking allowed), because theres a long walk between hopes. I get it, but it’s bad design. On the plus side, the design of holes is decent, and range is grass. But overall no reason to come back. No wonder it was the only course I could fine a tee time on short notice.
