In summary

Santa Teresa Golf Club is praised for its beautiful setting in the foothills, well-maintained greens, and friendly, helpful staff. The club offers a variety of amenities including a driving range, putting greens, and both 9 and 18-hole courses, which are appreciated for their challenging layouts and accessibility. However, some visitors express concerns about the slow pace of play due to overbooking and congestion, as well as issues with the condition of bunkers and rough areas.

Great people at the pro shop and extremely helpful. This course provides a driving range within walking distance to the first tee, putting/chipping greens and my tee time was right on schedule. Plus the course is challenging for a mid-level golfer. Another plus is the beauty of this golf course.

Love this course and the layout but man it's always incredibly backed up. I specially asked if it was backed up (because when it is, it's pointless to buy a cart which costs 20 bucks a person) and was told that it wasn't. I proceeded to buy the cart from the advice of the golf shop.... terrible mistake. I'm on hole 6 tee box after 1 hour and 45 minutes of playing. They seriously need to spread out these tee times or be more strict. Or just be honest about it being backed up at the very minimum. Hope they fix this soon.

Good public golf course. They have 18 holes. They have 9 holes(walk in) It's a beautiful golf courses on the foothills of Santa teressa mountains. They have a pro shop, nice bar with patio. Good range with option to get coaching.

Driving range is nice. 50 balls for 8 usd. There are 2 courses. A 9 hole and 18 hole. I have never played the 9 hole but pretty much you show up and play. Might have to wait. Theb18 hole is ok. Front 9 is good, back 9 a little beat up from the squirrels. I usually get in first thing in the morning and playbthe back 9 on the 18 hole course, they only allow those starts for the first hour of the times. Its a good way to get some golf in and get home before 9 am.

This is by far my favorite course. It is kept up very well and love the layout. The par 4 & 5’s are very wide. There is also a great, short, par 3, 9 hole. Lots of deer that wander around. Driving range is very nice as well.

Fun golf on well maintained course(s). Driving range, chipping and putting greens allows you to warm up/practice. Par three course is a fun way to get a quick round in, and improve your short game. Just another beautiful day, in San Jose, at Santa Teresa golf club!

Really nice course, sometimes it plays slow but definitely worth it at this price point. I usually play tracking my scores with the Flush18 golf app.

I do enjoy playing here but the squirrel population is getting ridiculous. There are so many squirrel holes--my group has lost sometimes 2 balls per round. There are hundreds of squirrels especially between number two and three and on 17. And you must be VERY careful where you step. I twisted my ankle in a squirrel hole a while back and it took a long time to heal. They need to do something about this as they are also undermining the tree roots.

It's been 14 years since I've been here. My friend booked on a weekday on special for $35 a round. We played and it was quite nice, although the fairways are spotty on some. The course is long but has 4 -T Boxes, we played on the BLUE which 6000 yards instead of 6700. The greens are well kept. For the price, it's a great walking golf course with a few up hills holes. They only check you in 15 minutes before reserved T-Time. There are many practice greens and chipping areas which are nice. The pace is quite fast - 4hr.

Really disappointed with the pro shop here. The course is WONDERFUL. But out of the four tee times I’ve booked here the past year 2 of them weren’t recorded when we got here and I called a few days before. Really disappointed in the lack of detail out of the people making these tee times. Very unprofessional and disorganized out of the pro shop. Until the situation is fixed we will not be returning.

I played there last weekend and it was a great course with amazing views. Some of the course are hilly but that make it fun and challenging and make it beautiful. I will be back for sure.
