In summary

Cresthaven Golf Club, now known as Markham Executive Golf Course, is praised for its friendly and accommodating staff, well-maintained course, and reasonable green fees. The course offers a mix of Par 3 and Par 4 holes, making it suitable for both beginners and seasoned golfers looking to improve their short game. While most reviews highlight the positive atmosphere and amenities, some mention issues with hard ground at tee boxes and occasional noise from nearby train tracks.

Played for the first time this season at this Golf Course on Sunday morning. Danny and Tiz were amazing at the pro shop. The Greens were firm and the weather was perfect. Everyone in our group enjoyed the round. Will definitely recommend this Executive Golf Course for improving your short game.

Starter and proshop employee (owner) are always super friendly and kind, not uptight at all. Course condition is what you would expect overall, but the greens were nicer than expected. They have chipping green, putting green, and some nets to hit into in lieu of a driving range. Came on a packed day and the starter started us on the back half which helped significantly, was able to squeeze in a full 18 after 5pm

I firmly believe this is the best golf spot to play for a beginner. I've been to a few "links" style straight par 3 courses for beginners, and none provide as much value as this course. This has just enough variety and challenge for a new player to have some more fun, and some great par 4's in there too. Staff is friendly and vibes are good. If I had to make any suggestions, it would be to repair the practice area net, as a few of my balls have gone through, but its not too big of a deal.

Recently played at Markham Executive Golf Course, a great course right off the 407. Extremely well kept & maintained along with very friendly staff. I got a late start to my season this year but was very happy after playing here. We were able to play 18 holes in just over 3 hours. Will be playing here again and I strongly recommend anyone looking for a spot in GTA to come out, you won't be disappointed.

I enjoy playing at this golf course for many reasons.... The green fees are very reasonable, the course is relatively well kept, the staff are very friendly, and it is an executive course, so I can play 18 holes with a push cart in just over 3 hours. Looking forward to my next chance to play here!

Had a good experience at the Markham Executive Golf Course! We saw a blue heron on the course! The staff were all very friendly. They even came by and offered us cold water during our game on a very hot day. The ground was really hard at some of the tee off spots which made it hard to put a tee in the ground (and pull it out…). I broke a few tees because of that. The course is right beside train tracks, because of this it got really loud a few times when trains went past us. Overall I had a good experience!

Markham Executive Golf Course is a fantastic spot for both new and seasoned golfers. The course layout is well maintained and thoughtfully designed, offering a mix of mostly Par 3s with a few Par 4s that keep things interesting without being overwhelming. It's the perfect place to work on your short game or enjoy a relaxed round with friends. The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They really go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. Whether you're just starting out or looking for a quick tune up session, this course is a go to. Highly recommend for anyone i…

Ok, this is not the most amazing course that you will ever play, but value for money is top notch. The clubhouse lady is the nicest and most helpful person that I have encountered all year and she is a good reason to give this place a try. It’s cheap, quick, and very forgiving. You can bring out your driver on a couple of holes and a hybrid on a few others as well. Late in the year the tee boxes leave something to be desired, but that’s par for the course (get it?). Give it a shot, you really have nothing to lose for the price. This course is bordered by the 407 and railroad tracks.

I took my 80 year old avid golfer dad who has been stuck in the hospital for the better part of the past year. He has partial paralysis on his right side but really needed to get on the links again. I thought I’d ease him back into golf at this executive course he’s never been to before. WOW! Both my 40+ years of golfing-fanatic dad and I were blown away by the amazing condition of this par3 course. The owners have really made the place more than enjoyable to play at. I would also like to thank and offer my sincere appreciation of how well we were treated and the staff went out of their way to…

The new Owners of Markham Executive (formerly Cresthaven) have improved the facility so much over the last several years. New Club House, Hitting Nets, better greens, and lengthening several holes. I find this course is great for a practice round instead of hitting at a Driving range. The Staff are great to deal with and wish nothing but the best to the Proprietors.
