Crooked Creek Golf Course

Golf in April, no complaints! Course needs a little TLC and I wouldn't drive too far to play but if you're in the area, it's a nice layout and pretty open.

Ok, let me first by saying the gentleman working there was super nice and very helpful. But, this was by far the worst golf course I have ever played. There was virtually zero difference between the rough, the fairways and the greens. In my opinion, they have no right charging $105 for a round with a cart. There are much nicer courses in the area for what I would consider to be more reasonable. We not be back, and will ensure that anyone who’s asks about this course, doesn’t either.

This course should be closed in its current condition. It is extremely tired and worn out. Tee boxes are a suggestion, hole yardage doesn’t match scorecards. There are no boundary markers or yardage indicators. The Pro said the course was wet…. That was an understatement. It was like golfing in a marsh for at least 70% of the front 9. The dandelions and weeds are extraordinary. I’ve golfed on some pretty sketchy courses but it is evident that this establishment hasn’t been a decent course for years. The "fairways" were basically rough, the greens were bumpy, slow and not properly cut. Paid $60 for a 9 hole scramble tournament and no one showed up except our 4 man team, The Proshop worker was very nice and gave us the option for a refund or let us play 18 with a cart but we will not be going back there ever again

Showed up early for tee time, went into the clubhouse about 15 mins early to check in but no one was there, I guess I was supposed to wave down the guy headed out on a tractor to cut at 1230 pm? Get out there and the course is scorched earth, fairway is lightly covered hard dirt, greens are brown anthills.the guy on the mower cut the hole we were playing on proceeding to run over my ball that I couldn’t stick on the “green” My partner paid for 18 on the online app but we stopped after 9 ( when he turned the sprinkler on the hole we were playing) . Thanks to Crooked Creek for opening early. A bunch of Ottawa golfers headed out. It was a lovely Friday afternoon. Great hospitality at the course. Spring conditions for sure. Course will green up nicely with all of this watering in the coming weeks.

The course itself has potential but it's completely run down and not maintained. No running water in bathrooms of proshop was just the start. Grass wasn't cut at all, greens were like fairways infested with ants, bumps and holes. Sand bunkers are overgrown with grass. Sadly we paid $60 with cart each for this. Crooked. Too bad as it probably was a good course back in the day.

This was terrible. The greens were infected with ants. Twenty to thirty ant hills on EVERY green. The fairways were not maintained and the first area of rough has not been trimmed in years so that you loose your ball immediately. We played there because we could get a tee time easily. Now we know why.

Played 18 holes here last weekend and had a great time! The staff was friendly, and the greens were in good shape. The course was overall a bit challenging, but that's part of the fun. Will definitely be back in the future!

This place has so much potential. It could be a decent course. The lack of care and maintenance made it a very poor experience for my group. There was so many piles of cut grass on the fringe and on the green, really it was all over the course. The tee blocks were non-existent on many holes. The greens were badly damaged as well. The attitude of the owner needs to change. When I called to book a tee time, he said he was too busy and to do it online. It says directly on the website to call if you would like a tee time. Course used to be so well maintained and fun to play under old ownership. The new owners have let the course fall into disrepair , the fairway and tee box conditions are very poor , looking mostly like cow pasture and tick infested hay field . The attitude from the staff is also quite poor on check in as very unprofessional with the pro shop not even being open and cash being exchanged hand to hand out side If the course every gets into better condition I may consider trying it again but for now this course will go on the list of do not plays for me .

Just played here yesterday. 18$ for nine holes on the worst maintained golf course I have ever seen. Unbelievable. This guy shouldn't be in business. Advertises breakfast and stuff too, but there's nobody that works here! Nobody to take green fees, nobody to cook, and nobody to cut the grass. This course was once nice, but no longer.
