We recently hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner at the Danville Golf Club, and the entire experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Andrew, the club manager, was incredibly accommodating and made sure every detail was taken care of of. His professionalism and attention to detail were evident. I was married in April at Danville Golf Club and I could not have chosen a better place. They supplied everything we needed and coordinated a wonderful evening. Andrew Walker truly made my wedding day perfect and went above and beyond. I had a few guests with dietary restrictions, one being vegan, and they were able to accommodate each guest. Great course and great people. Greens and fairways are in fantastic condition and the layout is great. Andrew Walker does a great job for all members and the everyone at the golf shop is always very helpful. Best course in the area by far.

Andrew Walker and the team at the Danville Golf Club went above and beyond to make my wedding the best day ever. After choosing DGC as our venue, everything fell into place perfectly. Wedding planning was very easy and the rehearsal dinner and wedding day were very smooth. I seriously could not recommend this place enough. Many of my rehearsal and wedding guests told us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had, and my husband and I felt the same way. Danville Golf Club is the best golf course I’ve played in southern Virginia. Everything from tee to green was in pristine condition and I really enjoyed my round. This is a Donald Ross classic design and the layout proved to be extremely challenging and fair as well. The staff and members were extremely friendly and made me feel welcome during my round. This is a course that everyone should play if afforded the opportunity, you won’t regret playing it.

The Danville Golf Club is very family friendly! My family spends their entire summer by the pool. It’s easily our second home! I cant recommend joining this club enough! Well worth the membership price! The golf course is beautiful year round and the golf professional is very personable! We love you DGC!

We held a luncheon for family and friends at the Danville Golf Club following my mother's funeral. My family and I were so pleased with everything about our experience. I was able to handle all of the arrangements by phone and the staff was very responsive to my questions. The Golf Club is one of the few venues in Danville that can handle a large crowd. At first we expected about 50 people, but that number grew to 80 a week before the luncheon. The ball room was elegant and the food was delicious. The staff was very helpful. Great experiences at DGC! I have hosted a few events over the past year, including my daughter's birthday party complete with an indoor bounce house, a baby shower for 50, and a small luncheon for friends. All of them were overseen by Andrew with great attention to detail and ensuring that everything was perfect for us. We also enjoy the pool so much in the summertime. It makes spending time by the pool even better when I know I can feed my family there and spend extra time by the pool. All of the staff is wonderful & the food is delicious! My daughter's wedding was April 12, 2025 and we had the reception at the Danville Golf Club. This was a great decision!!!! The Golf Club Manager, Andrew Walker was very nice, friendly, and professional. He was wonderful to work with. From the beginning he would listen to what we wanted and he told us I will make it happen, and he did. He went over and above for my daughter's reception. We have our annual graduation event at the Danville Golf Club each year, and we’ve had a great experience each time. The General Manager (Andrew) goes out of his way to be friendly and attentive to the details of our instructions. The set-up is always spot-on, and we know we’re in good hands when we arrive for our event. Highly recommend.
