In summary

Deer Park Golf Course is widely praised for its challenging layout, beautiful 18-hole course, and excellent clubhouse amenities, including a well-regarded restaurant and friendly, helpful staff. The new clubhouse has been noted as a significant enhancement, contributing to the course's appeal. While most reviews highlight the course's great condition, a few visitors have expressed concerns about the maintenance of the greens and fairways, suggesting room for improvement in upkeep.

We came here on a cloudy day, obviously it drizzled so that was no fun. The club house was immaculate, very well designed and stunning conceptually. We rented a cart and did the first nine holes. We enjoyed ourselves, and the price was comparable to most golf courses I would say. I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the greens though, for the way the club house looked it really made us feel like it would be a very high end course. In the end we still had fun, we would return but it isn’t as well kept as other courses nearby. Maybe it was just the start of the season, will update if and w…

The course, clubhouse, and staff are all excellent! I was in a pinch and needed my clubs re-gripped, and Alan Sauser greeted me with a smile and gave helpful advice. My clubs were in rough shape, but after Alan was done with them they felt brand new. Fantastic service all around!

Hailey was an excellent server. She brought my beer and food in record time. Very friendly and the kitchen staff are obviously very talented, too.

Awesome and challenging golf course! Great shape. Clubhouse is gorgeous (it does not look like a funeral home as someone else posted! Not at all). Super fun course to play and we will be back.

Amazing supper! It was absolutely fantastic, from the house dressing, delicious soup, jumbo shrimp, perfectly medium rare steak, to the different flavors and textures of the dessert. It was all so wonderful, and the presentation was beautifully done. 10 stars!

After spending almost 8 million on a clubhouse that looks like a funeral home when you first walk in, the braintrust decided to close it for any fall and winter use (not what the taxpayers were promised) but we now have a clubhouse that belongs in upstate new york and a once exceptional golf course that now looks like a goat trail with more dandelions on the fairways than humans on the planet. Rock hard greens and teeboxes. So, to the city of Yorkton like every grand plan....once the ribbons cut and the press are finished the story they loose interest and its on to the next insane and expensiv…

The course is in great shape, always a challenge from any tee. The clubhouse is brand new and the food and service is top notch. If you're around this area you really need to play a round here.

This is a must play golf course in southeast Saskatchewan. Enjoyed 10 rounds while on holidays. Older school front nine with some very interesting holes. Back nine you better bring your A Game. Chef in the Owls Nest serves a great meal so stay for lunch or supper.
