To be honest the course was pretty good but not the best but I went golfing in November so you can't really argue but the staff super nice they had pretty good clubs they had some really nice golf bags they had a nice little Pro Shop. putting green I mean the putting green wasn't the best the holes were just dug out really fast and at a slant could be better and I overall give it this course of 7.5 out of 10 super happy that it is still open.

Tried to go here for my graduation with family and friends. But the guy was rude and assumed we had no knowledge. He was nice on the phone until I seen the guy in person. He was rude and said “well you obviously don’t know golf” and we do have family members in golf tournaments. So very dusted with how the person acted. Very upset that I couldn’t have my graduation golf day here at deer ridge and feel welcomed. I do not recommend this place until they have new staff. NO STARS if I could

I have to argue with some posts on here Chris and his staff even the two dogs are amazing!!! The course is great for a locally owned and operated course. We need to step up and support locally owned businesses. chris has done an amazing job with what he has to work with.!!Lets all support Deer Ridge.. I added some pictures look how amazing the greens are!!!!!

Just played this course for the first time and very impressed. The owners were extremely friendly and even let us play an early tee time and pay after. The greens were in REALLY good shape. Going to be playing here again next time in in town!

This is a real pleasure. Might even call it a hidden gem. While I don't think this course was professionally built it was in really good condition with very fast greens. While it is a 9 hole layout it offers different sets of tee boxes if you want to play 18 holes plus, as another feature, there are tee boxes to make it a par 3 course. Loved the staff. If I am out this way again I would play this course again!

I enjoyed a few rounds so much that I bought a week day membership. It is a nice, easy walk for an aging golfer like me. But the course is interesting with more water in play than most prairie courses. That also makes it a scenic walk on the north edge of the city. The greens are nice too with a bit of slope for challenge. Very pleasant.

Just wanted to leave a review. Was in brandon for the night for work, figured if get a quick 9 hole round in, found this course and it was a lot of fun. Did 9, and had to do another 18 right after. Course was in great shape, loved every minute of it. Will definitely return.

Great driving range but had a very rude encounter with a lady kicking me off the property and threatening to "call her husband" only from using the practice space before going to play!
