In summary

Deer Ridge Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained grounds and suitability for beginners and those looking to improve their short game, with a layout that includes mostly par 3 holes and a couple of par 4s. The course offers a pleasant experience with friendly staff and reasonable rates, though some visitors find the pricing high for the course's size and amenities. Criticisms include issues with the greens' condition, unclear signage, and occasional staff unprofessionalism, along with concerns about geese on the course.

i only did the front 9, it’s clearly a course for beginners or if you don’t have much time. it was simple and relaxing. wasn’t very busy. not bad prices could’ve been a bit cheaper. some of the holes overlapped other ones and the directions weren’t the most clear. The driving range isn’t any good, the mats need to be replaced, can’t use irons or wedges on them.

I really enjoyed both the driving range and the back 9 of this lovely course. Lots of parking, convenient access to driving range and putting green and a fun course that is challenging for any golfer. Great rates.

This course could be a spectacular par 3 course. Suitable for both beginners and low cap players looking to work on there iron and wedge game. It really has the lay out for it. However the greens absolutely destroy this. The greens are cut to the length of some fairways at other course. For being early July you would expect them to have some sort speed to them. Instead they are slower than lynns opening day. A good cut and roll would greatly change the dynamic of this course and bring me back. But at this point the greens absolutely destroy the round and make it completely unenjoyable. Beatin…

The course was alright. I hadn't played it in a while. The price was $40 for 18 which I thought was a bit high for a 3000 yard course. Overall I'd say it was a nice track if you only had a couple of hours to play. Lot's of geese and poop. At least they keep the greens clear of it. They had lots of goslings which will surely find their way back to the course next season. To be honest for my money I'd rather play the two other courses. It's $52 to play the Lynbrook which is a 5700(white tees) yard course. The Hillcrest is $60 and 5900(whites) yards. You can get deals if you book through discou…

This is a very nice par 3 course. My wife and I played with another couple (1 mid & 3 high handicappers). The course is in great shape (mid September). The holes average around 170 yards with a couple 140 yard and a couple 200 + yard holes. There are 2 reachable par 4 holes to end out the round. It took us about 3 hours to play 18 holes. This is a great course for beginners or for anyone who wants to work on their short game. The staff was friendly and the clubhouse serves alcohol. I only gave 4 stars because the carts and clubhouse need some maintenance and up keep. I look forward to playing…

Course as usual in spectacular shape. But for the first time in many years I’m disappointed. It’s grossly over priced compared to past years. Also grossly slow on a great day plus 28 slight breeze Saturday afternoon. . And I assume it’s the price. Come on now folks you’ll fill that course up with golfers with a better price point.

Very fun course, not bad price, golf carts are nice, staff is friendly, all rentals available, greens and fairways are well kept. Great executive! Would absolutely recommend for a nice day on the green

Not a great value for the experience here - Seems things have declined with the recent ownership change. - Tee boxes are filled with buried tees and not well maintained - A lot of animal waste all over (watch where you step!) - Oil from the mowers on most of the greens - Anything off the fairway is not well maintained - Grass cuttings all over the place in most rough Disappointing as this is the only Par 3 course Moose Jaw residents have - I will not be making a special trip to play this track! For context, I’ve played 54 rounds at various courses in the province halfway through the season…

I have never seen this course in such good shape. It's a par 3 with 2 (?) Par 4's. Not a pitch and put. Alcohol selection is poor unless you want a can of beer or cooler. Kitchen, well, we had a 2 for 1 burger. It's not a homemade burger but decent and quite large. I think it is a little pricey for what it is but, what isn't too expensive now a days?

This is a nice little course, mostly par 3. Good place to practice your short game! It's not a fancy place by any means, but we aren't fancy golfers, so we enjoyed ourselves here.

I must say that there are far fewer positive things to say about this course than negative. First, the positive: The driving range is by far the best in the city and perhaps surrounding area, and the practice green is well kept. I believe the course would do well to invest more in this area of business (overhead cover, tables, etc.) since this is already their strength. While the turf conditions as well as rates are relatively good, I feel the need to mention the following disappointments: As other reviews have mentioned, there are members of the staff that are needlessly rude and care far mor…

I would hardly consider this a golf course, it's closer to a par 3 course. 16/18 of the holes are par 3. The other two are par 4. Additionally, to call it a "Country Club" is hilarious, as it's just a shack with some hot dogs. The price is fair for what it is, but I wish they called it for what it is, which is a par 3. It took 2.5 hours to complete going slow, whereas most real 18 hole courses take 4. Also the first 9 holes are poorly designed, lots of doubling back, and even sometimes confusing where the next hole is.
