In summary

Goulet Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, well-maintained greens, and a driving range with ample space, making it a good option for both beginners and seasoned players. The course layout offers a mix of challenging holes, though some visitors have noted issues with course conditions, such as water in bunkers and worn tee boxes, as well as occasional scheduling and pace of play concerns. While the pricing is generally considered reasonable, a few guests have expressed dissatisfaction with the cost relative to the course's condition.

Closest driving range for the west end of the city. Tee boxes moved regularly, no matt's to mess with your swing. Nicely marked out range markers to know how far you hit. Small, medium and large buckets of balls. Good option for learning golfers or those perfecting their swing.

Staff are all very friendly, I asked about a military discount and the young man looked into it. They don't have one but they will review that for next season. This is a Par 3 course so be ready to hit those irons straight. The greens are excellent, and require some skill to birdie/par. You must hit those fairways on the par 4's and 5, otherwise the prairie ground that's not irrigated will send your ball flying off course. 18 is a fun hole, you must play it with some strategy otherwise you'll end up in the creeks. I went 4 iron, nailed the middle of the fairway. My son went driver and almost c…

Been here a few times to use driving range and once for an 18 hole game. The driving range is nice, lots of space. A slight walk from the lodge building but that’s okay. I’ve always enjoyed coming here. I also didn’t mind the full course but if you’re a newbie be prepared to lose a lot of balls in the creek. Seems well maintained and it’s affordable to golf here. Will absolutely return for the range, also the course itself in the next season.

The conditions of this course were quite bad considering how much it is to play. 106$ for 2 players to cart 9 holes. They had a Marshall at the first tee and a Marshall driving around trying to encourage pace of play. The Marshall trying to keep pace of play was rude and telling me after waiting on most holes on the front 9 because half of them are par 3’s that I was holding up play.. I can’t play a par 3 with a group on the green. Pooled water in most bunkers, tee boxes were mostly sand, greens haven’t been cut down. Course must be lacking knowledgeable staff, also on a Saturday there is…

I took lessons from Goulet’s Golf Pro, Gary Gerein. Gary was fantastic! I have seen a dramatic increase in the quality of my game! I highly recommend Gary. Also, the pro shop staff are great and the driving range is fantastic!

Played on a Saturday morning in 3 hours 15 minutes. Really well maintained fairways and greens, with a good mix of challenging long par 3’s, and some short par 4’s. A great spot for a quick round.

Too early in the season to make a judgment on the course conditions. But the staff were all great; mature ladies who wished to please, were smiling and helpful. Had a traditional breakfast at the canteen, & my wife a heaped breakfast bagel, all made fresh to order. Yes marshal was hovering out there, she needs to be, but was kindly, and concerned that we had a stress free round. Have a great season!

Called trying to book multiple 9-hole tee times, was told I cannot book 9 holes until the morning of. Nothing on the website with mention of this so was caught by surprise. Will take a group of 12+ elsewhere, I guess.

Great smaller course reasonably priced- conditions too early to say but have always been good in the past. The front clubhouse people are friendly and helpful. Sherry checked us in with a smile, polite, having fun and enjoying her job. Will golf again for sure.

*Updated Review June 2024* 2 golfers "twilight" 4pm $113 18 holes with cart. This is an executive style 64 par course at just over 4500 yards. This would be more of a 3.5 star review if Google allowed it. Pros Greens and tee boxes are in great shape. The pace of play was fantastic on the front nine.. They've had some flooding early in the year, which is especially noticeable on the front 9. The 2 ladies working the kitchen are joys to be around, very friendly. Cons While we were golfing the front nine, a company tournament was kicking off, so it got quite busy. We did not see another group…

Came here on a work trip and wanted to get a 18 holes in. Nice course with well groomed greens. Decent challenge for beginners and seasoned players alike. Cool history behind the course too! Staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating. Recommended.
