In summary

Murray Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained fairways, challenging greens, and friendly staff, making it a favored spot for many golfers in the Regina area. The driving range is noted for its reasonable rates and ample parking. However, some visitors have reported negative experiences with the course marshal, citing issues with attitude and handling of pace of play, which has detracted from their enjoyment.

This course is really nice and I've been going here for a couple years with my papa because hes the only one in my family that like to golf. anyways me and him go to the course to play a good 18 hole game and we have a really good time over there, the service is great, the staff is great, the prices for the driving range is probably good if your asking me but overall good course, i have a real good time here

Absolutely disgraceful experience. Came out expecting a peaceful round of golf—got harassed by an angry, washed-up marshal who acted like he was guarding national security instead of grass and golf balls. Guy clearly hates his life and decided to take it out on us for existing. Rude for no reason, aggressive when asked simple questions, and completely unfit to be dealing with the public. We ended up getting a refund—not that it makes up for the embarrassment and frustration. No apology, no accountability. Just ego and attitude. This course clearly doesn’t care how their staff treat people. I…

Another beautiful golf course in the Regina area. I only had the chance to visit the driving range here, but definitely want to play the course. The driving range is well laid out, plenty of parking and reasonable rates.

Came out to this course expecting a chill day, left feeling like I’d just been barked at by a wannabe drill sergeant with a power complex. The course marshal was straight-up rude, disrespectful, and had no business working in customer service—let alone on a golf course. Dude acted like we owed him something for showing up. We ended up getting a refund because the whole vibe was so hostile, it killed the entire experience. And honestly? That refund didn’t even scratch the surface of how frustrating and embarrassing it was to be treated like trash for no reason. If this is the kind of “hospita…

Friendly staff. Fairways are nicely manicured and some greens are challenging. It is one of my favorite courses in the Regina area.

Thanks for the most recent posts this week. This post has encouraged me to make my way to try out the Murray Golf Course for a couple reasons. From my POV I very much appreciate golf courses that have marshals who are working to maintain the pace of play at 4 to 4 hours and 20 minutes. Sometimes you never see a marshal at a golf course or if you do they dont engage with you and the vast majority of golfers look forward to playing in that amount of time. I have not played the Murray this year and will be looking to make a booking. I also appreciate that the experience of a marshal approaching…

If you want to play a 5 1/2 hour round then look no further the Murray golf course is waiting for you! The pace of play is terrible. The starters and club house members make you hit off #1 as fast as you can so by the time you get to hole 4 you get to wait with 3 other groups! But wait there’s more! There is a Marshall on the course driving around looking for balls and “nothing he can do about slow play”. I’m sure glad green fees are this much to cover that salary! Don’t know where the course would be without him! I thought maybe it was one time thing and tried again and boy was I surprised th…

Used the range Saturday afternoon, yesterday, around 1pm. Basket collector worker decided to help himself to my balls. I had set a couple Kirkland balls out for chipping practice. "Oh this is a good ball" as he takes it. Didn't respond to my "hey what are you doing?" and he ran off to his cart. Strange and unprofessional. Left a sour taste.

We drove 3 hours to come golf in Regina. After 20 years of golfing this was the worst experience of my life. The Marshall was on us to move after just the second hole , after we hit he again approached us and said to pick up the pace. We then told him if the group behind is so much better they can play thru . He said no that's the not point and to play faster . Not sure about anyone else but I play to have fun and relax not to rush a game . This Marshall needs to go , will never go back to this course. Spoke to the manager about him and the manager told us to be better golfers . Unreal staff a…

The only reason I gave this 1 star is because the course looked good. Unfortunately we only made it to the 2nd hole, before being attacked by some unpleasant piece of Marshall. Worst experience we have had in 15 years of golf. Literally left the course after asking for a refund after management told us we should learn to golf better. Apparently business is so good they do not care of the average customer. That staff has got to be cleaned up so that the average person can enjoy a day in the sun golfing. This guy literally has ruined not just my day but the rest of my week.

What a joke. Grumpy old Marshall, stopped us half way through our second hole and told us we will take 8-9 hours to finish the 9 holes at this pace. We weren’t even going slow. He then sat and watched us play and came right back to us and told us we don’t know what we’re doing and need to get it going. Was super rude, old guy who needs to learn how to talk to customers. Didn’t finish our second hole, went to the pro shop and took a refund and left. Manager at the office was a character as well. Oh and even if you pay with a debit/credit card, they won’t give you a refund back on your card. Th…
