In summary

Diamond Bar Golf Course is appreciated for its recent renovations, including well-maintained greens and fairways, and a challenging yet enjoyable layout. The banquet facilities and event staff also receive high marks for their professionalism and quality service. However, many visitors express frustration with the slow pace of play and overbooking issues, which can lead to extended wait times and incomplete rounds.

Finally, I had the opportunity to play at this new renovated course that I have driven by for years since I saw the renovation from the 57 freeway. The course is very layout. The green is way too firm packed with sand. No bounce or divot can be made. This course is not updated on my garmin watch, so I was just playing blind. The pace as you expect on the weekend is slow mo. I will come back on weekdays to play again, but this time with my laser range finder. Y2025 update. The green is much softer now. Very playable but still fast and no breaks. Good luck!

Make sure you keep an eye out on your deposit. I had to cancel my tee time because of rain. After calling the club house 3 and speaking to some. It never got refunded. They said they provided the information to the manager and he would take care of it. Then on the 4, 5 and 6 call I asked for the manager, who is never available, left my number and emailed him. Never heard from them. Back 9 always gets over booked.

Great conditions and price for a public course by LA. Would definitely recommend.

Seeing this course being refurbished for 2+ years I was excited to finally play it. Long & open with some truly challenging holes. Only bummer was my Garmin watch was highly inaccurate. Little to none distance markers but it was kinda fun figuring out the distance with my buddy. Besides that, fantastic. We'll be back

The renovation of the banquet room was absolutely beautiful. From the very beginning, the event coordinators were incredibly helpful, professional, and a pleasure to work with. They offered wonderful decorating ideas and thoughtful referrals, including the Photo Booth vendor we used. Planning the event felt easy thanks to the wide range of options available—from food selections to hosted bar choices and help creating a seamless schedule of events. We chose the Asian Buffet, and it was delicious. Later in the evening, the mini croissant sandwiches were served and were just as wonderful. A hear…

I went there for the first time after the golf course construction was completed, and it was more uncomfortable than before and the management was just so-so. The golf watch doesn't work on some holes, which is very inconvenient. How about adding more distance markers or markings? In particular, some golf courses would probably have a hard time operating without Korean golfers… However, customer service has not changed. It seems that the number of people visiting golf courses is decreasing. The fear of complaining about the loud road noise is for beginners… I am concentrating and can't hear…

Reopened course. Everything is still in new condition. New bunker sand, fairway&green grass. Expecting the condition to improve in a few weeks. The freeway noise might be a bit annoying to you. Wide fairway and big green. It's great overall!

This course has reached new lows with its greed-driven approach to scheduling. Tee times are packed so tightly that it’s not just inconvenient—it’s infuriating. They’ve clearly decided that cramming in as many golfers as possible is more important than providing a decent experience. Charging for 18 holes while knowing players will not complete the round due to overbooking could be seen as fraudulent. This practice misrepresents the service provided and undermines consumer trust by failing to deliver the full experience that was promised and paid for.

Booked a 2:30 PM tee time and couldn't even finish. The slow play ahead was brutal, and there wasn't a single marshal in sight to keep things moving. We’re definitely disappointed and hoping the course makes it right with a refund or a rain check. Additionally greens are full of ball marks and i am surprised that golfers did not repair them so I did perhaps at least 5 on most holes.

My son had fun. The course was ok, the rough was RUFF, the greens were great, but the range was terrible. The starter was great and the inside team was good and accommodating.

Diamond Bar GC with a big return. The course is in great condition and the certain hole changes have been done nice to speed up the game here. Greens are rolling and holding. The fairways are running nice. Ciara and Brandon in the restaurant area keeping us going with the Patron and beers. Thank you!

I liked the course itself but I didn’t like the long waiting on each hole. Slow pace is killing the tempo of the game.
