In summary

Dutcher Creek Golf Course is praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained grounds, and friendly, helpful staff. The course offers a variety of hole layouts that cater to different skill levels, and recent upgrades like new cart paths have been well-received. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about inconsistent course maintenance, including hard fairways and long grass, as well as management issues affecting the overall experience.

My husband and I are staying at the Rogue River resort and decided to golf at this nearby course. The colors (it’s October) were so beautiful! The course is so fun and well maintained. The woman working in the shop was so helpful and kind. We will definitely be making the drive from Medford regularly now!

On my roadtrip back to UT. Really enjoyed playing here before taking off. 100% recommended.

Dutcher Creek Golf Course was a great stop on our summer of 2023 #golfjam tour. The breathtaking views around this golf course made for some great golf shots both with our clubs and our cameras. The golf course was in good shape and the price did not break our budget. The staff were kind and the drink prices were fair. The golf course has just been upgraded with all new cart paths which made for a smooth ride, which was good for our backs for a change. We are hoping to return to Grant's Pass again soon. Both the front nine and the back nine had very challenging holes. Being as this was our fir…

Looks like your enjoyment at Dutcher Creek is top on new owners score card. This coming from more than one person spoke with during my round. “The course has been recently landscaped” said one of the employees. “Removing or pruning trees to open up fairways and working to improve greens.” I played on 3-22-23. Dutcher Creek offered views of snow dusted foothills, clean air, geese, ducks, and a peaceful setting on a few miles off I-5. Power carts, pro-shop, friendly staff were the first things I notice. On to the golf. Fairway grass was in good shape and greens roped true with a some break and w…

Here on vacation and my home course is reciprocating so was only $30 for cart and fee. Greens are good, smooth, fast downhill. Up hill you had the grain. I could not tell you about the fairways as I was rarely there. The couple times I was they were poor, hard pan. Course layout is kinda silly. Lots of odd directions. Short course played 5000 yards. Folks in pro shop were super nice. It was golf and that’s always good.

I posted a great review a year ago but need to provide an update based on my golf experience at Dutcher Creek today. First, the staff were friendly and helpful. The Pro Shop had some women’s golf apparel and that’s not something many golf courses offer! The cart paths are now all paved and the forward tee boxes have been repaired. Sadly, myself and my golf partners will not likely play here again unless the course itself has serious improvements. On the first tee box, there were a couple of gentleman walking around looking for their golf balls. We were a little irritated it was taking so lon…

I’ve been golfing for just a few years now and I started at Dutcher. Started out just fine. Fun course with short holes so a newbie like me could enjoy. Well, it’s completely fallen off the rails. The guy running the course is never actually working. He’s drinking and playing golf. Normally he’s with large groups holding up everyone playing behind him. Saturday morning all his buddies have the first tee times no matter when you try and book yours. The fairways are in awful shape. A perfect tee shot can lead to hitting off of rock hard dirt. I posted photos showing the brutal fairway conditions…

My experience at Dutch Creek Golf Course was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment we set foot on the course, it was clear that the management had no idea how to run a respectable establishment. We were just trying to enjoy a casual round of golf when we were aggressively approached by a man who claimed to be the owner. He launched into a profanity-laced tirade, berating us for being on the fairway, even though there were no signs or indications that we weren’t allowed to be there. His behavior was not only unprofessional but downright abusive. As if that wasn’t bad enough, his friend…

Dutcher is a beautiful 18 hole course. The grounds are well maintained and everyone that works there is nice and helpful. The pro shop has a nice selection of womans clothes, clubs and bags. The carts have comfortable seats and have screens with information like yards to hole. I am a newer golfer so there are a few challenging holes but it's been fun to push myself to get better. Over all I would recommend the course to anyone.

The staff is great and always ready to help if you have a problem. The greens are usually in good if not great shape and same for the fairways. All golf courses seem to have their own small issues but they try to keep on top of things here as they happen.
