In summary

Eagle Point Golf Course is widely appreciated for its well-maintained grounds, challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it a top choice for golfers in Southern Oregon. The resort's amenities, including the restaurant and accommodations, receive positive feedback for their quality and affordability. However, some guests have noted issues with course maintenance, such as variable bunker conditions and wet greens, as well as concerns about management's engagement with patrons.

Great golf course. Challenging fun, lot of diversity up down short long. They got the Bermuda grass so it can be a little soft in the fair way at times. Greens are decent, The sand is a little variable. Sometimes it's wet and muddy. But it's doable All in all, I've played this course twice in a few days with some pretty cool people pro shop People were very helpful and courteous. Would definitely recommend good pricing too. Has a very awesome practice range area as well

This is a very affordable and well-maintained golf resort. The restaurant and staff were amazing, and prices were reasonable for the Chalet rooms and amenities. Funny enough, we aren't golfers, but we stayed here for a night because of a concert nearby and didn't regret it. It is very peaceful and very clean. The views and the overall atmosphere are very quiet and relaxing. The rooms are plenty big for solo travelers, couples, or families. Two queens in the bedroom and a "living room" space in another section can be closed off if you're a night owl traveling with early risers. To us, it wa…

Haven’t played the course in some years due to medical but am a regular at talon grill. Their staff (no names) is so great and just want to keep coming back. I have to say after the management change I have been a bit disappointed. The new manager doesn’t/won’t acknowledge any guests that are there, and are spending time and money at your facility. No acknowledgement that you are a guest, no chat about how the food or service is, nothing. Myself and my friend have been supporting your grill for some years and some days are extremely slow, many times we are the only ones there or maybe one oth…

Beautiful place to be, magnificient views, the restaurant service was friendly and accomodating, our waitress was so sweet. I ordered the fish and chips, it was haddock, which is pricey but it wasnt that fresh, and the fries were cold so imo the food was okay but not amazing. Overall I really enjoyed my visit, I was there for a birthday party and had a lovely time, a very good place for a celebration!

Great resort and awesome restaurant! I didn't golf here but all of their golf staff, hotel staff, and especially the restaurant staff were super friendly and welcoming! The landscaping is immaculate! I ate dinner and breakfast there and both meals were amazing and reasonably priced.

I have never seen the greens look so pitiful I'm assuming someone is cutting the costs of nutrients and feed or has no clue what they are doing, I've lived here for over 10 years it has never looked so sad. My family is here visiting from back east and we went to eat at Talon Grill I am embarrassed and let down after the need to dress up, every other patron eating was dressed accordingly even our server was great the idea of getting rid of clothe table napkins to now using paper napkins cut it down from a fine dining to mediocre at best. Very disappointed the standards have always been high ev…

I played yesterday just before noon. I live in the golf community and have been playing it since it opened. I played the inaugural day when the back nine was only open. That day we met at the maintenance shed behind the 12th green. So yes I am not just being mean. This was 1998. The course extremely wet on two different greens I had balls plug 10 and 13. On top of that the bunkers are like cement with rocks that will scar your club. Had to quit after the short par 3 15th. They had two groups of 5 on the course in front of us with no marshall. Yes they have their own carts and are members. But…

One of Southern Oregon’s best courses. Green and fairways for late October and early November were in excellent. I’ve enjoyed 8 rounds here in the last two years. Great experience whether you ride or walk. Challenging holes that can add strokes if you miss fairways. The clubhouse reception and restaurant are friendly and accommodating. Call ahead at the 8th hole for a hot dog or burger if you like. I’ll be back next summer.

Just a suggestion. For a course with so many bunkers, if you can't afford to put sand in them, maybe turn them into "waste areas" with natural grasses or something. To treat them like bunkers and the rules that come with them is a disservice to your patrons and an otherwise beautiful course.

Great, challenging public course. Grounds are in fantastic condition, staff is nice, and the green fees are very reasonable.
