Oak Knoll Golf Course

The club staff were so friendly and helpful. Nice, surprisingly difficult 9 hole course. A good workout if you’re walking.

I’ve played this rustic course for decades and loyally over that time, but when they allow, as they did today, a group of eight and two groups of six out, on a jammed weekend, they need to have a foursome max like every other course I know has.

Nice course for the mid level golfer not impossibly difficult, but there are challenges. Nice driving range, too.

Fun little course! Rental clubs, balls & tees for 9holes under $40; can’t beat that! Good elevation changes and pin placement throughout. Will play again when in town.

Love this course, it's great to walk and has a fun layout that's great for beginners and lower handicap players alike. The staff is absolutely amazing and by far the friendliest in the area!

Not the best course in the rouge valley but surely some of the best views. Wonderful place for a leisurely round.

Oak Knoll was fun to play and experience all that it had to offer. This 9 hole course dished out creeks cutting through fairways, a couple of blind shots around corners and hills/valleys. Sure glad I took a cart. With the help of a local player on the front nine I got a better feel for what was waiting for me on the second nine. Tom was the morning starter and couldn't have been nicer. He too was a SF Giants fan and knew all that they had done right up to yesterdays game. The help was also friendly and courteous and I would definitely give this course a four and a half out of five star review.

I’ve lived in Ashland 9 years now and absolutely LOVE the fact we have such a fun and challenging course here in our little community! The last few drought years made it tough on the course, but it’s looking beautiful again this spring!!

I really like the property but the turf is garbage. If it weren’t for weeds there wouldn’t be much green, especially on the tee boxes. Ground squirrels have holes dug all over, including in the middle of fairways. Temporary greens on 7,8 and 9, grass is the same length as fairways so it’s impossible to putt on them. I had the first tee time of the day but apparently they let people go out and walk and play before the course opens, I caught up to 2 ladies that took about 15 minutes to play hole # 3, and they had a dog with them, fortunately they let me play through. It is a nice layout. It doesn't have very good flow between the greens and the next tee box. If you haven't played there before it can be confusing finding your way around. A few well placed signs would help. On this particular day the greens were awful. Between many, many unrepaired ball marks, unusually high amounts of footprints, and dryness, the greens were really bumpy. The speed of the greens were also inconsistent. Some greens were super fast while others were really slow. The tee boxes and much of the course was really dry, way more dry than other courses in the valley. Didn't see any…

Should be a fun 9 hole course. Has some interesting holes and layout, but fairways are pretty raggedy. Greens are in decent shape and fast! HOWEVER!! My wife and I played on a Saturday morning and found out the hard way that they allow groups of 5 and 6 to play together. We played the 1st nine at a good 90 minute pace but at the turn quickly found out we were behind a group of 5 and a group of 6!!! We were waiting at least 10 minutes at every tee box until we eventually skipped a whole and jumped ahead. What other course in the world allows that nonsense on a Saturday morning?? If we hadn’t sk…
