In summary

Eagle Vines Golf Club is praised for its beautiful setting among vineyards, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff, offering a picturesque golfing experience. Many appreciate the course's challenging layout and reasonable pricing, especially during twilight hours. However, some visitors report issues with slow pace of play, uneven tee boxes, and limited driving range facilities, suggesting room for improvement in these areas.

Love the open fairways and adjacent vineyards. Runs along Highway 12 for a few holes but mostly feels set apart. Carts are showing some wear, but course maintenance is overall good. A tricky hole or two.

This course was a little disappointing as some parts are quite over watered and have poor drainage issues, while others dry and very barren. Tee boxes definitely do need to be shaved otherwise may as well remove the tips for play. Greens do get a bit more ballmarks as it is a public course. The staff are friendly and very nice, however the owner should definitely reinvest some money into fixing some of the issues. Also, I had the unfortunate event of playing behind a foursome who had no golf etiquette whatsoever and they are throwing tantrums, causing wait times to be nearly 20-30 minutes for…

Eagle Vines Golf Club is a solid course overall. It’s well maintained with smooth greens and well-kept fairways. The snack shop has a good variety of options, so you’ll definitely find something to keep you going during your round. The pace of play was excellent—our group kept moving without delays, which made for an enjoyable day. However, at nearly $100 a round, it felt a bit overpriced for what it offers. I’d say it’s worth closer to $50. Also, the driving range is a bit limited, as they only allow irons no drivers which might be a downside for some. All in all, it’s a good course, but just…

Beautiful golf course set among vineyard, rolling hills with multi level greens.. Course was well maintained and manicured. Well worth the price. The pace of play was good. The only negatives are that there was no food cart going around and the range needs some upgrading. Much better than the other golf course, next door.

Beautiful driveway, and Bar/Restaurant has wall to ceiling windows with an amazing view of the course. A snack bar as well in a different location. Golf course well maintenanced. NO DRIVERS at driving range, but you can practice with your hybrid if you like... FOUR!!!

I concur with the multiple reviews about the layout and condition of the course. The tee boxes , fairways and greens throughout the course were in very good shape. It was a nice course, not terribly difficult and above average as compared to other public Napa courses. I played early on a Tuesday morning and had no issues completing my round in a very reasonable time. I would recommend playing here.

The service was excellent, and the course management was well-organized. The only downside was the strong wind and older golf cart. However, we thoroughly enjoy playing at this course and love the experience.

It was a very challenging course. Many holes feature doglegs, along with water hazards, greenside bunkers, small greens, and significant elevation changes. Each hole has its own unique character, which makes the round both demanding and exciting. Despite the difficulty, it was a fun and enjoyable experience, and it’s definitely a course I would love to play again.

The best golf course in Napa, without a doubt. Only $30 for a round with cart included (twilight hours) and the greens were impeccable. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well. Take lots of pictures from hole 14, you won't regret it 😉

Firstly, the course itself is a beauty. The stunning views of the surrounding vineyards are a feast for the eyes, making each hole a picturesque experience. It's the kind of scenery that reminds you why you love golf - the blend of sport and nature at its finest. However, the driving range was a bit of a letdown. It's short and, notably, doesn't allow drivers. This was a bit restrictive and didn't allow for a full warm-up experience, which is something I look forward to at any course. The most challenging aspect of the day, though, was the pace of play. It was incredibly slow. After 5 1/2 ho…

You know it's going to be bad day when you roll up to the second tee box and there are THREE groups stacked up and waiting. It took us 45 minutes (!!) to play the first two holes this past sunday 8/10/25. Incredibly frustrating and was no fun at all. We finally saw a marshall on the 7th tee and he told us to talk to Ray in the pro shop, so we quit on the 7th at which point we were an insane 2:40 minutes in. Ray says the best he can do is give us a credit for 12 holes (not even the full round) and to call the GM David G. the next day to see about a refund as we were from out of town on a golf w…

Beautiful course, it was a lot of fun playing in and around the vineyards. A few issues with the round: The play time was extraordinarily slow, about 6 hours for 18 holes. I mentioned this to the staff, to which they said "well that's just golf nowadays." I play twice a week, and that's the longest round I've ever played anywhere in the country. That's not just golf nowadays, that's poor tee time management and a lack of a ranger. Additionally, I rented clubs that came with "rental balls". I finished the round and asked if I could return a sleeve of unused rental balls, which I was not allowe…
