I cannot understand some bad reviews. The course is difficult, but fair. Its tight fairways and the undulation is challenging and I liked it a lot. I walked the course and I will do it again, although a cart is included in the greenfee. The greens are very well maintained and not too fast but like almost always the tee boxes lack quality. Because of the uneven lies, I would not recommend the course to beginners.

One of the best courses to play near the Bay area and an easy drive from Sacramento. Greens on wild and fun.

Hiddenbrooke Golf Course, now managed by Troon, offers a fun and scenic round. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Wildlife is plentiful, making the course feel extra special with deer and turkeys often spotted along the way. The layout features narrow fairways lined with mature trees and heavy brush, so accuracy is key. Twilight rates provide good value. The carts are on the older side and do not have GPS, but the overall experience makes it worth the visit.

Very aptly named, this gem of a course is a fun, challenging track. Easy to get into trouble and the rough is rough! The "hidden brooke" also adds to the fun. Not much of a driving range, but the chipping and putting areas were great. Golf carts were a little run down but they got you where you needed to go. We would like to play again the next time we're in Napa.

I frickin loved this place!!! Cannot wait to play here again. Only thing that slightly sucked was the bar and beverage cart situation at the time we went. There was no bar, the also had something going on with the beverage carts. We didn't see the cart until the 17th hole. Other than that, this place was awesome. The right amount of challenging and the right amount of easy for a decent golfer such as myself. 😉

Beautiful course! A lots of elevation changes. Use the hills as your friend. The ball will tick away from the slope. The condition of tee boxes and greens are very much improved than 2 years ago! It is worth it to drive 80 miles each way.. Wish all players to fix their ball marks on each green in the future. 2 tiered green, avoid 3 putts!

Great service and staff. Tricky layout, not exactly right in front of you. But white tees make it fun. 6000 from blues. Nice fairways. Nice greens. Really cozy cafe with good breakfast

5.5 hr round of golf. Brutal. Course was in okay shape. Most tee boxes were just sand. Greens were nice. Wouldn’t come back

Attended a wedding here and everything from the ambience to the service, the venue to the bride/groom suite, from the food to the dj were absolutely FANTASTIC!

Hiddenbrooke in its prime was one of the best courses. It’s getting back to that point but not quite there yet. The greens were oddly slow. I know they were aerated a week ago but they were some of the slowest greens ever. Tee boxes improved. The rough was insanely long but I’m sure it’s bc of the rains. The course is designed so well with the wind. It still owns me but I’m ok with that! Look forward to a return visit and updating this to a 5 star. Staff was great as well.

40 person tournament and a 16 person tournament, all over the age of 75. Taking 45 min a hole and the guys at the club house response is "yeah, it's golf". Maybe you shouldn't put 56 people on the course at the same time. We dont have 15 hours to play 18 holes. We will see if Nick gives a refund on Monday. That's absolutely ridiculous. Do not golf here unless you have 15 hours to play 18 holes. Update - I tried to reach out to Nick several times. He never once answered the phone or returned my phone call. To be expected from a coward.

The course is generally in good condition. The greens are somewhat inconsistent; some are slow and others are fast. Overall it’s good value for the money.
