Ellsworth Meadows Golf Club

I have been wanting to play Ellsworth Meadows for the past 2 years. The course fully lived up to my expectations. Service in the pro shop, by the starter, and the mtce workers was all friendly and helpful. I got the sense they truly wanted to make the round enjoyable. There was a lot rain the day prior and there must have been over 20 workers on the course making it look in great condition. I was the first off at 7:04am and ran into some of the workers on a few holes. They were extremely courteous and stopped their work to allow me to complete the hole. First time here. Super affordable and course was in immaculate shape, greens rolling true. Fun layout with some good risk reward opportunities. They also have the Finn/Eagl scooters which are a blast.

Totally enjoy coming to this golf course. The quality of care and course design makes this one of my favorite courses each summer. I live 40 minutes away and it’s totally worth the drive! The course itself is fantastic. It's always in great shape. No complaints on the course itself. However, I was told that you can't play 9 holes before 1pm on the weekends "due to high demand." Firstly, I'm here to bring you my business and it felt like you scolded me. Secondly, I didn't have time to spend 5 1/2 hours on a golf course, so I could only play 9. It's my god given right. Formerly Big Springs, the course is improved with a nearly redone back nine. The course is really nice just to look at and plays tough. Well worth at least a round a year.

Very nice course! The fairways and greens were in excellent condition! The layout is fantastic! This is a course I'll make a point to play several times each year!

Course is a local jewel. Redesign by Brian Huntley is challenging and fun to play. Staff is great! Like another reviewer the players need to fix ball marks, rake traps, replace divots and maintain a reasonable pace of play. A ranger might be a good idea. I think the green fees are too low. All in all a good track.

Best Public Golf Course in N.E. Ohio with a wonderful practice facility. Easy course to walk as green to tee box distances are reasonable.

This was our first time playing Ellsworth Meadows in Hudson. Staff were courteous and professional. Nice little pro shop. Grabbed a Devitis Sub at the turn. Course was in excellent condition. Nice layout. Pace of play was excellent. Challenging at times but very fun to play. Greens were fast, put some touch on your putts and control the speed.Hit a few good approach shots that hit the green and rolled off. We will definitely be back 👍🏻

I played yesterday (10/15) and was amazed at the absence of leave (that hide balls in the Fall) both in the fairways and rough). Excellent conditions created by a hard-working ground crew.

One of the best-maintained courses I've played in the Akron area. Competitive rates. Best practice facility I've seen at a public course, with multiple practice greens, a practice bunker, and a practice pitch shot green (<50 yards).
