What People Say

In summary

Emporia Country Club is highly praised for its well-maintained course, beautiful landscaping, and friendly, helpful staff. The course layout is appreciated for being both challenging and enjoyable, with excellent greens and fairways. While most reviews are positive, a few visitors noted that the fairways can be a bit long and the driving range could use some attention. Overall, the club is recommended for its welcoming atmosphere and reasonable pricing.

Beautiful public course, south of Emporia extremely well kept. Staff is super friendly. Course is in excellent condition. Greens were extremely fast due to the recent rain.

New ✋ eye course is legit. Great design that complements the land. Looking forward to playing it in GBO.

Beautifully landscaped course. Grasses are awesome. Always a very enjoyable round. Great staff. Nice clubhouse. Continuously working to better the playing conditions of which are always real good. Tee-times are easy to make. I highly recommend this course!

I've been a member for over a year now. I try to play at least once a week. I love the course. It's fun, challenging, plenty of hazards and friendly staff. The carts are always clean and well kept. They are getting ready to purchase some new equipment to make even more improvements. I pay 50 a month for the junior membership. That covers all my green fees. I pay extra for the cart. 12 bucks for 9 holes and I believe its 19 or 20 for 18 holes for the cart. It is open to the public also.

Made the drive down from KC with my father in law (all courses here closed due to snow cover) and had a great time. Marcus was extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. The course is fairly flat with good hazards and nice cart paths and was in terrific shape, especially the greens, which was amazing considering the extreme cold and snow the area was just coming out of. Would very much recommend a visit to anyone wanting to play a nice challenging round (for me anyway as a high hcp player). Worth the drive from KC and I will definitely be back again!

For middle America...this country course is pretty nice. Oh the fairway is a little too long at times. Lost too many balls the day we played. Think the driving range could use some attention. The greens are in pretty good shape. Recommend you try it for yourself.

Really score-able course that is well taken care of. Prairie golf with a relaxed vibe. Greens were manageable and sticky; fairways long. Not a ton of penalizing features.
