In summary

Fergus Golf Club offers a flat and walkable course with well-maintained greens, making it a suitable choice for beginners and those looking to practice their game. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful, and the course is affordable. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play, outdated facilities, and inconsistent maintenance, particularly on the driving range and fairways.

It’s an okay course. We played the west and the east. It’s quite a flat course so very walkable. Most holes are wide open so if you leak your drive then you can still recover. Greens and bunkers were well maintained. Pace was good, we finished in 3.5 hours on a Tuesday.

Played here once and it's a farmer's field. They keep it well maintained though. Not overly long or tough what's so ever so its a good course to work on your game. Driving range is irons only. Tons of divots. It could definitely use some TLC.

I moved to Fergus 2 years ago. I was excited to have a course so close. Unfortunately there are no other driving ranges close. My experiences at this course have been nothing but terrible. The staff is rude and incompetent. To make it worse it is a golf north course. I had a cart break down at the 9 holes across the highway and couldn’t get a hold of anyone. Had to go through golf north and no one would answer. When I complained that the cart kept stalling through the round they didn’t care at all and pretty much said tough luck. The staff said they were having trouble getting parts to fix the…

It’s is a nice flat course, very walkable. The downside is that this course is very tight. Several times during our 18 hole game we had balls drop very close to us without the common courtesy or “FOUR” being yelled. Everyone was polite, we did on the very first hole have the Marshall com up to us to let us know that there was a pair of golfers behind us already complaining how slow we were. We let them go ahead of of us on hole # 2. For the rest of the first 9 we were held up by these two golfers. They seen that it was two adults and two juniors and assumed we would be slow. However our junior…

Good golf course for the price and friendly crew.

Course is basically a driving range with greens. Not really upkept well. Can barely differentiate the fairway from the rough. fairways aren’t well kept. No one ever comes around to offer a drink. For the cost there is much better options within a 15 minute drive unless you’re working on your game close by. EDIT: Struck a nerve I guess. Just cause it wasn’t a good review doesn’t mean I won’t play it at my convenience. The reply should tell you everything you need to know about this place lol.

Great for the price. Go there, play some best-ball and enjoy!

Good course for a beginner. Wide open fairways on east and west nines. More narrow on the south. With a lot of beginners, it's slow moving and the holes are right beside each other with little protection. Not much food and drink choices and carts are getting old. Ours kept dying on us.

Not a fan of this course. Very small greens and were extremely fast. Was barely any green on the course! I played 4 times the last week and no other course is in this shape. Not as easy as it looks! A straight tee shot will be your best friend here. Just meh.

We played this course May 29th and the course was ok but the wait was something I've never seen or experienced since I started golfing 30yrs. It took 7.5 hours on a course that should 3.5-4.0 max. Our foursome waited on every hole, on most holes an average of 3-5 groups we're waiting 10 to 15 for each group. We all talked to pass the time but there was no covid precautions here. Long story short Golf North is over booking juring Covid and I would not recommend here. Unless you want to spend 8 hrs in the sun with no cart person on a course that resembles a cow pasture. Don't waste you time an…

We haven’t golfed here yet but their customer service in helping to fix issues I made when entering the wrong email on an online order was incredible. Every single member I spoke to knew who to escalate the concern to and the matter was dealt with in the same day or the next step and appropriate timeline was clearly communicated. I was very impressed with the staff.

Nice course with choice of 3 9 hole experiences. The staff were helpful and friendly. The topography is gently rolling hills with a few ponds and bushy areas.
