Fox Ridge Golf Club is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained course, challenging layout, and scenic views, making it a favorite among golfers in Maine. The staff receives consistent compliments for their friendliness and helpfulness, and the course offers excellent value, especially with its twilight rates. Some visitors note that the cart paths are in need of repair, and a few mention that certain greens can be patchy, but overall, the club provides a rewarding golfing experience.

A beautiful golf course with amazing staff. You can definitely deduce that the course designer, Lenny, knows what he is doing. Ed and his staff do a great job maintaining. The fairways are soft and lush. All carry. The greens are amongst the best in the state. Good pace and they hold. There are a lot of blind tee shots so it is advisable to bring some type of gps overview (18 birdies etc), unless you have a cart and can ride up and look at the hole. Pace of play was superb. 4 and half hours for our round. We will be back.

We loved this course. It was hille & challenging but, so much fun. Particularly loved the bells ringers on 2 of the holes. And the water stations. The staff were very nice to us out of towners. Will definitely come back when in the area.

Golf connoisseur rating 8.5 the views, the elevations, the wow! Aaron in the pro shop (I believe one of the managers, not certain) was wonderful - people make all the difference! This course plays superbly and offers challenges although plenty of opportunity to score well. Definitely a must play course!

Beautiful views, great condition all season long (except for the cart paths needing repaving!) Watch out for the 4th and 18th holes - you need a well-placed tee shot to get across in two. Be strategic and gutsy! Fox Den restaurant service is great - Holly, Katie, and Lindsey are super! Nice practice range - though could use some bunkers. Friendly members and staff - Gerry, Ian, Gary, Adrienne. The women’s league is a lot of fun and very well organized thanks to Cindy Gelinas.

Great course, fun challenging layout. The course feels like the middle of nowhere but the play is very memorable I really like all the ravine shots, this course is very scenic, I’ll be back

Greens are fast and very hard. Course in generally good shape holes away from the road get much worse

My brother and I had a great experience here this summer. The golf course is in fantastic shape and we played our round in under three hours walking. It is a beautiful course, especially given the price. Great value. Will be going back next summer.

Fun layout. Greens are atrocious. Bare patches everywhere. $40 to walk 9....

Really tough course. If you have a bad back, don't golf, but especially don't golf here. The carts are well used and the cart paths are extremely bumpy. The staff are great.

One of the best courses I've played in all of New England, especially with the excellent value for the twilight rates!

This is a perfectly maintained course with plenty of difficulty. The undulating greens roll fast and true and you really can't beat the price. One of my faves in Maine.

Absolute gem of a course. Great layout and conditions are awesome. Greens are always fast and true. Never seems too busy, have never had an issue with pace of play. Difficult from the back tees, good golfers will thoroughly enjoy!! 8hcp
