In summary

Frank House Municipal Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability and offers a decent layout with some challenging holes, making it a good option for beginners and those looking for value. The course is generally well-maintained, although the greens can be unpredictable and in need of improvement. However, some visitors have experienced slow play, crowded conditions, and less-than-friendly staff interactions, which may detract from the overall experience.

This is a pretty nice golf course. Got good off-season prices. $26 for 18 holes in the afternoon. It's hard though. Most of the greens are rimmed, meaning they don't have a slow slope going up, just a quick steep slope and then flat so you gotta be good at flops and chips. It's a good course to learn.

To be honest, I’d rate this lower if it let me. Incredibly deceiving ratings. This is not a golfers course, it’s a clown house that sets the tone immediately when you walk in, greeted by a pro shop guy who blows and isn’t nice. Balls were flying everywhere, someone hitting out of your fairway on every tee box, balls doing hurdles while putting, and plenty of other variables you rarely see at a course. I’m simply writing this because if you are someone who works all week and wants to take a load off like myself, frankhouse golf course should be avoided at all costs.

Was hit two times from the people in front of us not a word was said from them. Greens suck balls flying everywhere and some jerk was showing his girl friend how to putt on 16 for 15 minutes while we waited to hit. I will pay more to play a better course with better people.

Course overall is nice . Waited an hour and 15 minutes at the first tee box to hit , course Marshall wouldn’t let me play the 18th hole at 5:20 . I got to the first tee box at 12 . No discount or anything offered and not the nicest course Marshall . Weird vibes

Decent beginner course, super old guy in the pro shop needs to retire if he wants people to enjoy coming here

Ive been playing out here for 25 years and after the tornado it got a little better but since it's done nothing but go downhill. The people are jerks, the course is always in terrible shape, they never cut the greens, and you spend the entire round dodging balls flying from three fairways over. The worst part though is good luck playing 18 holes in less than 6 hours. Last time I played here I said never again, but decided to give it one more chance. This time I mean it.

Great course for driving and approach shots. Greens are not reliable, but all else is good. It gets crowded on the weekends and play is slow. Mostly with groups of 1s and 2s. Also, lots of pine trees getting smacked by balls, so keep your eye out. Nowhere is safe from flying balls. Can't beat the price.

Perfect day to go golfing. First time venturing here and I love the space. Lines move quickly to get rounds started.

Best $25 round of golf in the state. Well maintained and most of the greens are in good shape. Still plays well even with the grass dormant. Get there early! They don't do tee times it's just walk-ups so if you show up after about 10am on a weekend prepare to wait on a cart. They don't force people to double up so the carts go fast!

As long as you’re not expecting Pebble Beach, you should be satisfied. Every public golf course could be in better shape, this one is no exception. The price is about as good as it gets, the course itself is fun and there are a few challenging holes. There are some dogs on the course from time to time, never had an issue with any of them. No tee times, first come, first serve!

No rules posted anywhere online before coming to the course which would’ve been nice considering it was mine and my buddies first time. Every worker (Marshall’s, front cashier, the shack worker) in this place acts like it’s the biggest inconvenience that we were there and gave us the hardest time because we had one extra body. Which is understandable but no one told us anything until we all already payed. The course isn’t all that great either especially the grass and all of the carts are either ragged out or have no tread on the tires. The country club in lake view is ten times better and che…

The greens are unpredictable and a few are in rough shape, otherwise everything else is fantastic for the price.
