In summary

Gahanna Municipal Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained 9-hole course, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing, making it a popular choice for both beginners and more experienced players. The course is noted for its scenic setting and walkability, with amenities like a snack bar and golf carts available. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about slow pace of play, drainage issues after rain, and occasional staff rudeness, which can detract from the overall experience.

The staff are very nice. This 9-hole course can be pretty challenging for beginning players and is exciting to play. It’s nice to play after work or early in the day

This is not a golf course review. Just walked around at this park and saw this beautiful course at the back of the Gahanna plaza. There were lots of golf carts and other professional equipment.

This course does not respect tee times and will just let anyone get on even on a busy Sunday. The starter is so rude, I tried to make a joke about the pace of play and he got furious with me and threatened to kick me off the course. If you have 5 hours to spare and don’t bring any jokes to the course, this is a great place to play 9 holes. I’d rather watch paint dry than to try play a round here. Save your money and go to kyber

This review is written December 2025 so it may or may not be relevant when you are reading this, but this place is currently overrun with Canadian Geese--so much so, that walking *anywhere* on path or off, could be potentially hazardous to your shoes or worse. Thanks to the hundreds of Canadian Geese currently ruling the premises like some sort of anserine/goosy parody of Jurassic Park or an avian Roman Empire, the horrendous conflagration of goose excrement you must bob and weave in order to walk here barely 100 feet only to face the unwanted final Boss (The "final Boss" ironically being seve…

Can't rent anything past 630 even on summer nights when you could play until almost 930. Ranger at the starter is impatient and grumpy. If you go during the day, you will have to dodge the numerous landscapers mowing the property that could be done when people aren't paying to play. You would think with that many landscapers the grounds would be better. I give it a 2 out of 5. If there were closer courses I would play somewhere else

Great course for a 9-hole. Its well kept and staff are on ground to ensure a seamless play. I'll be back!!! 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♂️

The golf course itself is pretty nice, however there is one staff member who makes the experience terrible. He trolls you on a golf cart while you’re playing telling you to hurry up when there is someone playing ahead of you, so you couldn’t go any faster even if you tried. This throws your game off and makes for a terrible experience over all.

Nice course, but was turned away for trying to walk the course with my month old baby who was sleeping in a stroller with my husband who was playing. Was told “no kids under 6”, as if my 1 month old was going to disrupt the play of others….. Also a shame for people with younger kids who want to enjoy and learn the game. Especially since it’s a municipal course.
