In summary

Gamble Sands receives high praise for its world-class golf courses, stunning views, and exceptional customer service, with many visitors highlighting the immaculate condition of both the Sands and Scarecrow courses. The resort's accommodations are generally well-received, though some guests feel the prices are steep for both lodging and green fees. While the dining experience is satisfactory, there are suggestions for improvement in food quality and service efficiency, particularly at Danny's Bar & Grill.

My company was doing some construction project in nearby Bridgeport. Stayed at Gamble and it was an awesome experience. Staff was great, check in and stay was a breeze. Rooms are immaculate and the view at night is relaxing after a long day. Lobby area was always clean and they would turn on tv so we could watch Gonzaga basketball. Great experience

We spent 2 nights here and I have to say that it exceeded our expectations. The course is amazing! The service second to none. From the front desk, to the bag staff, to the housekeeping staff, to the shuttle driver , to the bartender - some of the best service we've ever had. Definitely will return!

I’ve had Gamble Sands on my bucket list for a few years now, and I went there with sky-high expectations — not only were they met, they were exceeded. The location alone is top-notch; I love the feeling of being out in the middle of nowhere. I played the Sands Course twice and Scarecrow once, and both offer something unique while still sharing that signature Gamble design. The Sands Course makes golf fun for everyone, while the new Scarecrow course is a bit more demanding — and once it matures over the next few seasons, it’s going to be a true shot-maker’s paradise. The entire facility is wo…

Loved the lodging and its amenities of heated pool, huge putting course outside the back door and the gorgeous view of the landscape. Loved Gamble Sands. Could play that course over and over again. Did not love the prices of green fees for Scarecrow and for hotel lodging. Both were overpriced. Scarecrow course was opened way too early, which was the feel of other golfers I talked to and even some staff. Save your time and money for it in 2027. Hotel lodging was great, but $400 a night..? Wild, yo…

My son and I have played the Sands course multiple times since it opened. We just played it again as well as the new course Scarecrow. I am happy to say that we had a great round at the Sands course and an even better round at Scarecrow the second day. I have played courses around the world and both courses are in mine and my son's top 5. Thank you for creating such an amazing experience. From the golf to the lodging, food and service Gamble is special and a real gem. See you soon!

Three day golf trip with friends. We played the original course and the new Scarecrow course. Considering that they sit adjacent to each other, the courses provide a significant amount of variety and both are enjoyable tracks. The new course opened this summer and will take time but is very playable. I highly recommend a trip to this remote location for a unique links golf experience. Accommodations are very comfortable. They have two areas I think to work on, one being the fact that with a second course being added, there’s insufficient kitchen and dining capacity to serve the customers on a…

Glad I got to play. Happier that I don’t need to do it again. Sands Course scale overwhelming. So wide open you have no points of reference to where things are. Forecaddie should be mandatory for first timers…but they don’t exist. Saved by a very nice couple who’d already played it. Turf is so firm and tight you’d better be a pretty good player to enjoy this. Plus=fairways hit stats should go way up. Minus = putts per hole should also go way up. Overheard at the driving range. “If you’re playing the Quicksand short course take plenty of balls”. If true that’s ridiculous. Service generally good…

Awesome customer service in all property locations. I could tell you are a bit understaffed in food and drink service at Danny's Bar & Grill as it took more time then it should to get waited on. Your new Barn area was done well. I liked your design and setup. The restrooms at that location were not serviced enough however. They were a mess at 9am in the morning and in the same condition later in afternoon. The buffet got a 7 out of 10 the night we had the prime rib...that was not good, full of fat, more fat then eatable meat. The room was spectacular. Please put an end table between the chairs…

The courses are world class. Rooms were immaculate and the staff was fantastic. The only feedback I’d offer would be: - there are many blind shots. Seems a good enhancement would GPS trackers on carts so you can see where the group in front of you is to avoid hitting into them. - Danny Boy restaurant menu and food quality were just OK. Not bad, but didn’t blow our minds. - please build a 3rd 18 hole course!!

Staff was wonderful. Golf and hospitality operations were solid. Food could be elevated to better reflect the resort quality of people and property. Use apples a little more, what tracks better than that?

We came to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday and treat him to a round of golf on both courses. We absolutely loved our time at Gamble Sands. The service was A+. The only negative would be we wish it was more affordable so we could return more often.

The rooms are lacking some of the details to make this place special. The showers not having a shelf for shampoo, soap, razors, etc was not good. Behind the entry door was wasted space without hooks for hanging golf bags and jackets. A sunscreen for the porch would have been nice for the late afternoon sun.
