In summary

Golf des Iles is praised for its beautiful natural setting, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing, offering a unique experience with its island location accessible by boat or bridge. However, visitors frequently criticize the course's maintenance, particularly the condition of the bunkers and drainage issues, as well as the outdated rental clubs and limited restroom facilities. Some guests also report negative experiences with customer service and policies, which detract from the overall appeal.

Very nice area, staff were very friendly. Great views of nature and lots of wild life. course condition was a 4/5 Fun place but in need of some upkeep. All that said I would still recommend going!

My comment is more about setting expectations when offering rental clubs. I was visiting yesterday from BC and prefered to leave my own at home. Their rental clubs probably belonged to my grand father and were used to play in a quarry. It’s cheap ($15) but when you call to inquire about they should inform you how bad they would be. Honestly, just call Taylor Made and ask for a few free sets and they will give them to you. Or go buy a used decent set for $100-200. Then you offer the choice of an old and depleted set or a newer one for an extra $. The course is alright but having these poor rent…

This is a nice course, owing very much to its location in a national park. In general, the course is pretty well maintained, though there are certain spots along the fairways where the grass is no longer present. HOWEVER, please, for the love of goodness, fix the bunkers. The sand is either mud or compacted (or, after rain, a small pond), so it's almost as hard as the cart paths. I don't even bother playing the bunker shots anymore, and just drop nearby for a chip shot. Get some new sand for the next season! PLEASE!!! This course would be worth the price if this is rectified.

Nice location on an island, mostly flat and wide holes, you take a boat to go to the island or you now have the option to take the new bridge that was build for the Sepaq portion for biking or walking trails. You might also get lucky and see a bunch of deers around the golf holes (see picture)

The golf course is situated in a beautiful landscape with a charming ferry to access the terrain, which features a relatively nice green. However, several aspects need significant improvement. Firstly, the sand traps were poorly maintained, overgrown with weeds and grass, which detracts from the overall playing experience. Additionally, the golf cart, priced 20$ per person, was extremely difficult to drive, misaligned, and noisy. The cart path, composed of loose gravel, was filled with bumps, holes, and marmot burrows, making it quite uncomfortable and unpleasant. Secondly, the golf course h…

Some of the tee boxes were beat up. And the bunkers are really dirt/mud traps. Otherwise, very beautiful park!! Extremely friendly staff. Definetly going back

Excellent condition mid-summer. Easy course without much in terms of restaurant and club house. But at 65$ you can't get a nicer looking track. Very wild setting 15 minutes from the city. NB the course doesn't drain well... stay away after big rain

Overpriced!!! Not well maintained. Sand traps are all muddy and like cement . We were 4 foursomes waiting on a Par 3. When confronting the Marshall about the issue he answered “if you’re not happy go play somewhere else” course is not worth the trouble. Only positive thing is the kind gentleman offering the boat ride. The course does not drain well. Stay away!!!

Great prices to squeeze in an after work round. Greens are not in the best conditions but a beautiful walk and forgiving course

Well managed course for the pandemic rules. Good amenities. Roughs were challenging but fairways and greens were in good shape. No washrooms on the course though so not great for women. Overall, pretty good experience.

Overall the course is nice but I had a bad experience with the Marshall. He was incredibly rude with us. He didn’t make me feel welcome at the course because they do not welcome amateur golfers. I had such a bad experience that I have zero desire to return. I will be telling everyone I know to not come here.

Once you get to the parking lot you realize it's a trash bin. Litter everywhere around the parking lot and the main Lodge. Angry golfers taking it on with the staff. The restaurant seems decently priced for the offering. Overall totally unsuitable and disrespectful of the environment considering it's situated in a national park.
