In summary

Golf Rivière-du-Loup is praised for its stunning scenery, including exceptional views of the river and surrounding landscape, as well as its well-maintained greens and challenging layout. The staff is generally noted for their warm hospitality and customer service, enhancing the overall experience. However, some visitors have pointed out issues with dry or bumpy fairways and occasional service lapses at the snack bar. Despite these minor drawbacks, the course remains a popular choice for its scenic beauty and engaging play.

I played this course during the third week of July. (Rivière du Loup is my layover on my way to PEI.) The course features some majestic views from commanding tee blocks, dramatic elevation changes, and large greens. On the day we played, we received a warm welcome from course staff. Conditions were very dry providing for extra roll on most shots. The greens were well watered but a little on the slow side, (perhaps they were not being cut for speed due to the dry conditions). I will definitely find time to play this course again.

Beautiful, a little bumpy on the fairways in some places but very scenic. Don't walk if you're out of shape, lots of hills.
