Golf Rivière rouge

First time playing here (front 9, week after Labor day and they had just spiked the greens, so keep that in mind). The course was in decent shape. A bit shorter and less challenging then I have grown accustomed to. Most holes are fairly straight with little elevation change. Most of the undergrowth has been removed so its easy to find errant balls and make recover shots. The price for late afternoon golf is affordable. I like the par 3 with water, its very pretty. (I forget the number). Will play again to try the full 18 next season. The course was not busy on a Friday afternoon.

Over the years the course has matured and some of the holes are quite challenging. Good deal for the price and location. The fairways were very dry and hard as it didn't rain for some time which is why i gave 4 stars. The greens were excellent even though some people don't fix their divots.

Good PAR 72 course. In good condition already in mid-April so greens should be quick by mid-May. Adequate clubhouse with nice veranda overlooking the course. Carts are in good condition. Bunker sand is reasonably soft by Canadian standards.

A 30-35 minute drive from the West Island and you’re at Club de Golf Rivière Rouge in Coteau-du-Lac. The fairways are well maintained, side-outs are cut back so finding an errant ball is easy, the greens are smooth and straight. The premises are well maintained, and the staff are welcoming. Just don’t get excited about asking for a Seniors discount.. you’ll find about 65-70% here are Seniors. Don’t be fooled, most of the players here have been coming for years, so they keep the pace. The fairways play fair and there are few hazards, so enjoy pairing up with others, or go it alone or in a pair.…

Really nice course. Approachable for beginners (was out here for my 13 year old nephew's first round ever) but still very interesting for experienced players. Simon (owner) was very kind and welcoming and enjoyed the fact that our round was the first for a young golfer, and welcomed it. From my last visit (2022) it seems like they've improved all aspects: fairways, greens, tee boxes. The new ownership seems to have put real investment in the area of play. Feels like they're just getting started.

Good course. A bit dry due to the weather. Some narrow fairways that are a bit more challenging for the weekend golfer. Par 3s are long and a couple of shorter par 4s make it interesting. Only 35 minutes from the heart of the west island

The golf course was in pretty good condition and our round took about 4 hours - not unreasonable. What I did find unreasonable was the price of the power carts for each person (more than $28 each person!!). Would I play here again if the opportunity arose? Certainly but I would not pay $28+ for half of a power cart or $56+ for my wife and I.

Soooooo Slow. ……We called the starter at the 3 rd hole as it had already taken us an hour to play 2 holes due to the wait on the second. There were 4 groups on 2 on 2 at the tee box for 3… they asked the people in front to go quicker and it did for a bit. At the turn we took a long time to try to mitigate the wait, only to come to hole 15 with 5 foursomes 3 on 2 on the tee. (16-17 and 18 were empty) We called the clubhouse and asked them to come and push people along. They came out but told us we were wrong and that’s how golf gors you follow one another 😅 there no time limit on a nice Sunday.…

Poor conditions on the tee boxes. Expensive for the quality of the course. Food is also bad quality for the price. The range is also poorly maintained. Not recommended.

We were three players on a Friday and walked as we usually do. It was my first time at this course and weather was perfect. It is not long and so we played from the back tees. It is clear that this establishment cares about their maintanence. The fairways are somewhat narrow and the greens are smaller than most others si it is a fun challenge. We were flowing nicely and refreshments were available as a cart was driving around the course. I read reviews where some people complained about not being able to drink their own beer 🍺 or eat their own food, etc but what did they expect. The round cost…

Good golf course. Went the day after it rained and it was a swamp. Not terrible though, still recommend trying it out! Staff very friendly, they did a decent job speeding up the rotations. But pricy though, for that type of course and where it’s at, they could make it more affordable

Great course, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit!
