In summary

Green Lea Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained grounds, challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both local and visiting golfers. The course offers a variety of holes with elevation changes and doglegs, and the clubhouse provides excellent dining options and event facilities. While most experiences are positive, a few visitors have noted concerns about pace of play and slightly high green fees during the fall season.

Fun classic style park course. Played in June 2020 in the course was in great shape. Look forward to going back.

Wonderful course, well kept and tons of fun. Only downside was being told our pace of play was “slow”. We averaged just less than 10 minutes per hole and finished 18 in about 2 hours & 50 minutes. It was the fastest 18 holes I have played and the only time we have been told this. To think being farther from the hustle of the Twin Cities we wouldn’t have to feel rushed. I think it was a grumpy local that complained. Super odd never having someone on our tail, yet to get called out like that. I recommend it but you may want to avoid it during that persons Sunday round 🤣 To add- The nearby airp…

Played late in 2020 and the course was in amazing condition. A fun track to play. It will challenge any golfer and give you a chance to score. Great food if you are hungry during or after your round.

Located west of the Albert Lea fairgrounds. Very nice golf course with affordable prices. The course is laid out nicely and very well kept. The club house is also very well kept, which includes dining facilities. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. Outside seating available. Staff very friendly. Parking lot good size.

I loved this course. The holes play pretty long, which I liked because there are plenty of holes to break out the Driver on. I played below average and I still really enjoyed myself. The staff working at the clubhouse and the attached restaurant were very friendly as well. I would love to go back here one day.

Green Lea is one of my favorites. I look forward to playing it every year. Great layout with some elevated tee boxes and plenty of dog legs. Its just a fun course to play and am always pleased with the conditions.

Fun, challenging course to play. Can score on it, but need to hit great shots to do so. It's a must play every time I'm in Albert Lea. Rates are great, food and beverage are affordable. What more can you ask for?

I can’t speak for the golfing but the food was delicious. Burger was great and so were the homemade tenders! Service was great, I’ll be back for sure!

Haven't golfed here for years. Well maintained established course that isn't really long. Lots of challenging holes and many on which you can score well if you hit it in the fairway.
